Train Spotters Unite
I had a major "train spotting moment" last night and worked out how to suck the VIN number data off the WW logistics website and into an excel spreadsheet.
Occurred to me that WW will dump the 1M data off their site sooner or later and it might be useful in years to come to have a record of every 1M that came into Australia, delivery date, etc. It's interesting (in a train spotting sort of way!!) to be able to sort by delivery dates, location, VIN, etc. I'll keep updating it until the final delivery and then happy to send a copy to anyone who wants.

I was told only 100 to be sold in Australia! Think final number will almost certainly be higher than 270 given deliveries to date (252) and rate they are coming into port.

Car looks sensational Alvuchua-- enjoy the weekend! Don't forget to keep the revs under control during the break-in period . . . the good news is that this car just gets better and better as it loosens up.

VIN tracking
Can someone please let me know what is a typical VIN for 1M? I was only given the last 7 alphanumeric figure starting with VP and nothing is showing up on WW Track & trace.
Mine was built on 19th June, surely it's loaded onto the boat by now. Thanks, Quang

Picked up my car on Wed evening, absolutely thrilled. Will take it cruising on the weekend. Stu - come over anytime.
In the delivery bay was also a VO 1M with satin black wheels. Does it belong to anyone here? When we walked in to delivery bay I told wifey I changed my mind and ordered VO but didn't tell her. She totally flipped...lol. ...can't post pics from iPhone app! |

You can't search on WW using the 7 digits. Try this instead: 1. type in WBSUR in the cargo ID field 2. sort by status location 3. look for your 7 digits in the Port Kembla list ------------------------- Edit: whoops. I see you solved the problem while I was typing this!!
