I like the lip on the 1m and will probably purchase this lip. Will it be available in 1x1 weave and 2x2 weave? And would someone know what kind of weave the bmw performance parts have? I don't want to have two different types of weaves on my parts.

I am not sure about what weave options they will offer but Harold at HP Autowerks should be able to answer this since he will be SleK's exclusive distributor.

+1 on a FRP version... not that I'm being cheap, but front splitters/lips on a daily driven car means that it will get busted up, I'd rather that it happen to something plastic than something CF.

Ya I agree, I think it looks nice. I most probably will be getting this depending on the weave pattern. I just don't want it clashing with my bmw performance parts.

It's generally not noticeable unless you are rocking a CF Hood + CF Grills + CF Lip then someone may notice a difference in weaves. But if you have say the BMW Performance Diffuser / Mirrors and then this lip, then almost no one will notice a difference. But I am sure this lip will come in the standard weave that BMW Performance uses as its standard weave as well or SleK will let you choose.

I wish it would come out from the sides more kindof like the Hamann lip. This car is narrow as it is and extending the length without extending the width exaggerates the problem IMHO.

It looks very clean as it is, you dont want to have your lip look like a set of plane wings, like the Hamann does.....:P |

Just sayin, the car is very narrow (and tall) so anything that can help "widen" it is better IMHO.
Examples: Again, this is just my suggestion. I think the BL is the car doesn't need to be longer.
