It hasn't reported its location for a few days, its probably a little past half way across the Atlantic by now. I'm waiting for a trial account from AIS Live which provides real-time tracking. Where is your car being unloaded? Mine is getting off at Port Charleston on the 15th to head for the PDC. If you know what port you're heading to you can look up it's arrival date. Next stop for the Turandot is Halifax on the 9th. Also, do you get a result when searching for your VIN in "Cargo ID" here? https://att.2wglobal.com/gstattweb/o...uickSearchPage |

Thanks.
Mine is getting off in NY(NJ), scheduled to arrive on the 11th. I'll be able to pick it back up when it's close to the shoreline. I put my VIN in the cargo ID field of the mentioned site and it pointed me right to the Turandot (This was after repeatedly trying unsuccessfully for a few days). I was able to immediately pinpoint the ship to the dock in Germany. Here's the voyage details of our ship: http://sagaweb.2wglobal.com/AppSched...ring=CA217-TUR |

Turns out my car is actually on the California Highway, a K-Line ship, and the ETA to Charleston has slipped to the 19th. That only leaves 19 days between PCD and arrival at port.

Speaking of financing... they pulled my credit back on 3/25 and put in 3.99% interest rate on the order agreement. I confirmed in writing several times that it's all worked out and that's my rate.
Is there any chance that can change? I put about 10k in travel expenses on one of my cards in April and my score dropped by almost 40 points. |

Here's Port of Charleston's ship schedule showing the TURANDOT docking on the 15th and the CALIFORNIA HIGHWAY on the 17th!
I actually drove right by the ship my car was on yesterday! I could see the ship from 895 in Baltimore! http://www.port-of-charleston.com/vessel_schedule.asp |

My car is at the VPC currently. I'll be arriving in Greenville at 6:21 on June 6th. Going in next Monday to actually buy the thing.
I added it to my insurance effective the day I sign the papers as is required by the state. Full coverage, including loan payoff, with a $1,000,000 combined single limit and another $500k in under/uninsured motorists coverage? $91 a month. I may not have had as much fun racing idiots in Civics over the past 10 years, but I'm pretty happy with my perfect driving record, 11 years of continuous coverage, and no claims in 9 years. |

Got a message from my SA saying I qual'd for an additional 1250 off for being a USAA member...so I ended up @800 under invoice. Nice having a good SA as the dealer could've just not said anything.
I guess mine is at the VPC also as the Owner Circles shows it in Finishing Touches stage.

Signed everything today. They gave me $1000 toward my down payment as a "rebate" from BMW NA to make up for the team drive thing. The dealership will likely be eating that $1000. Pretty happy with the deal overall.
