Are you kidding me?! Toss on the snow tires and go tear it up, guys! It's been snowing around here, but not enough to go out and get crazy. I envy all of you!

I can confirm... the Midwest would like an increase in temperature of 15F all winter long.

The only snow tires I have are mounted on the car in the pic, and I'm not going anywhere with these runflats. The 1er is my good (decent) weather car! Here's a pic of the gauge and my ipod mount: |

nevermind.
For all JB3 owners that get this Digital Boost Gauge from Rixster here is a link to what pins you need to plug in to your JB3 from your boost gauge. http://www.e90post.com/forums/showpo...81&postcount=3 |

ok. now i need a link to the firmware for the external mapswitching function.
Supposably the JB3 needs to be burned to enable this to work. Anyone got a link to this? |

Since my son was going back to college and he and I mod together my wife decided to advance my Birthday gifts.
My first gift was the P3cars gauge. About the gauge, beyond belief - design is exceptional and masterfully put together. The amount of functionality via a single button is iPhone like. Rick of P3Cars My second gift were the brushed aluminum pedals. They match the BMW dash trim very nicely.

Drove home tonight and got to appreciate the gauge at night. Color is a perfect match to OEM dash lights.
Great job P3Cars.

This thing really is awesome and fits so well with the rest of the interior (performance steering wheel included). Not to mention that having the gauge allowed me to figure out and fix the boost leak I had. I suspected something wasn't quite right, but I wasn't throwing codes and I had no way to tell for sure with out the gauge. I was boosting about 3psi under what I should have, so getting that fixed has made a huge difference. The car drives so much smoother now and of course there is the added power. Thanks again Rick for making such a great product and the quick support you gave when I was diagnosing my problem.

great product.. I just installed it last weekend and am loving it. Install took me a while mainly because of beer and snow outside but otherwise very well done directions and with a bit of common sense it went in very well..
During install i broke off a DSUB pin off the wires going to the ECU for the map switching function.. Broke as i was shoving it through the firewall.. Special thanks to Terry at BMS for hooking me up with some free DSUB pins on my recent purchases of an intake kit and JB3 chip burner.. Will help make the map switching function work now that I got those pins.. woooot ! gonna be a fun weekend putting all this in... oh yea, and ill be having some beers again.. one quick question. is this the code i need to burn into my jb3 gen 3 1.4 to enable map switching? : http://www.n54tech.com/forums/attach...2&d=1261193021 |

Yep, that is the jb3 firmware you need to activate the external mapswitch input on the jb3 since it is disabled by default. -Rick |
