To those who haven't received it. It was at my doorstep before USPS' site was updated. Give it a few more days. If not then message the seller via ebay.

Installed.
Passenger side: Driver's side: Both: I used 3M trim tape, so we'll see how it holds up. So the entire set with shipping and paint cost right at $60.00. Inexpensive and adds a bit. I like it. |

looks good! i have CSR eyelids on mine. I like them since they make the headlights look more sleek and not so bug eyed. wish they would have made the hood to make it look like your's does with the eyelids on.

I can't make up my mind whether to paint these or not. Anyone got a white 1-series with painted eyebrows so I can compare?

I'm in the same predicament. I think painted AW would look better. I'm not sure how I feel about sticking something on my headlight as it is, I figure painted would look more finished like it could be OEM. Semi gloss black might look badass too.

That's very tasty indeed. I am torn between your white and naked as they are at present. One thing was the comments by my paint supplier. He said: 'Yes, I have the ABS plastic primer, and yes, I can make the Alpine White 3 up in an automotive aerosol ... BUT ... it won't have the high gloss of your car and may end up looking like a highlight'. But I don't want it to be a highlight at all.
Hmmmm!

For a minute there, I thought you now had the same AE headlights as me ... LOL. Thank you for the rendering.

I don't have a link but have attached a photo of the packaging. The fact that it is a foam tape (12mm or half inch) is important as it fills in behind the lips on the eyebrows. I ran it top and bottom of the eyebrow. And if you make a small location error, use a hairdryer to heat it up. Same with removing it completely.

Ah, I got the 3m Trim tape from Amazon:
http://www.amazon.com/3M-03609-Scotc...s=3m+trim+tape The paint I ordered was base coat and gloss clearcoat. With the eyebrows tape/siliconed down, I don't imagine there is much flex going on. |
