Rick, do you want me to post something over at the 1erforum.de site?
I would just bring some fliers to the Welt. Something with your contact info too. |

Here's the photos of the brake lines and ferodo pads we just removed...all look like new...one line has a minor kink (far right line) and one front pad (lower right) has a small chip...see photos.
Nick has first dibs on the pads, Derek on the lines. If they don't want them, anyone else interested?

Yeah for the N55...I really miss it now that I'm "regular" again! I didn't think about draining my dot 5.1 fluids and trying to sell that, man I missed an opportunity

The guy that's booked all the way is Thorsten from Car Coding. Shoot Marcel and email and see what he says.

are those at the wheels? what supporting mods are required? ive been thinking of stacking my JB4 on a flash, and just using it for meth integration, and all the cool features it has (gauge hijacking, shift lights, speed delimiter, etc...) and maybe adding a pound or two to the base flash under meth.

Thorsten from car coding.de is all booked up. Marcel is offering discounts on his flash tunes. His stage one for the 1M is like what I have for my car with Marcel (stage II, 380 PS and 520Nm). No other mods on my car. IF you go with a FMIC that puts you at 420ish. And DP's really make more top end power. I did not want to go with DP's, nut I think this summer i will get a FMIC for my car. You can read all about my tune with Marcel here. I don't think he will be flashing cars at the Welt. He is only giving out 15% off coupons for one of his tunes. And yes, no speed limiter with his stuff. 280/290kph is possible. Got my car tuned in Germany… http://www.1addicts.com/forums/showthread.php?t=528152 |

still for sale ?
When you said USA Spec, did you encounter problem with the car registration (mod required etc) in Germany ? (I don't know yet the French process to record an american car in France, but it seems to be not so hard to do) Do you have the full list of options installed on it ? and the list of mods ? Do you have more pics ? History/Maintenance ? I'm lookin for a 135i and i'm not afraid to buy one in Germany, especially if the car is sold by someone who takes care of it. Car now has 8800 miles, with all options except premium...so it has DCT, nav, leather, cold weather, HK radio, Ipod, comfort access, park distance control, bluetooth. Plus added options like 500 euro clear bra paint protection, Higher temp brake fluid, window tint, CF front Kersher spoiler, BMW performance rear CF spoiler. A great car that is fast and fun. As for getting it into the European system, we just need to go to customs and pay the taxes and zoll whatever that might be as this has never been registered in Germany, rather the US system. I think the actual conversion to Euro specs will be rather simple as this is a German-built car with as far as I can tell, 95% euro parts. Change out the headlights and what else??? Once you have a few more posts, I can PM you.

Off the top of my head a couple other things that might need to change:
In some cases, all the glass. DOT and TUV requirements are different. Rear fog-light and headlight-switch. Amber turn signals Speedo, the smaller KPH readout on the US-models aren't as accurate as the Euro-model. Not sure what applies to the 1er, but things to enquire about.

I think the only thing you will really need is the euro headlight switch for rear fogs and the instrument speedo(kombi). Your orange corners can be coded out and all the rest that is needed to meet TÜV. Like you said... the hardest part is to pay the tax bill that your local ZollAmt will give the new buyer. But for you Rick, you only will need to go to US customs, the German buyer can do all the paperwork with German customs(Zoll) and TÜV. |
