Still not complete according to the automated system. Maybe it will update by morning.
Maybe the really fast ones take a little extra time to build! |

Most do, but I'm not sure about BMW. I would think so though. The tooling and equipment is extremely expensive, so letting it sit idle usually isn't an option. The message is still the same for my car this morning. In production, complete 4/17. I'm hoping the car is done and the system just hasn't updated yet. |

It only takes one day to get to the port. Keep in mind that the 800# is at least a day late so your 1er is probably already at the port. Here are the current vessel schedules to the Left Coast. Getting the car on a ship can take anywhere from a couple of days to 12 or more days. I've been sitting there for about 10 days now and still unsure if I got on or will get on this weekend.

Nice1 -- thanks for posting the updated schedule. My morning ritual is to grab a cup of coffee and then download the latest schedule. Thanks for saving me a step!
Looks like they've shuffled the departure and arrival dates a bit. I'm just glad to see four boats leaving in close proximity between the 18th and the 25th. I guess there must be quite a few cars needing shipped. |

Mine is complete and "awaiting transportation to the port of exit".
Now I just have to pray it gets on one of the boats coming in over the next week. Dan |

Hi all, I guess I belong in this group. Thanks for all the great order tracking info! I also have my VIN now. Currently "in transport to port of exit".

So when did everyone place their orders? I'm just curious how long, on average, it takes to go from order to completion?
Mine was ordered on 4/7 and was completed on 4/17, so it took 10 days from order to completion. Dan |

On the other hand, if you order but have to wait for an allocation to become available, it could take weeks or months between ordering and the final build. |

My "Vehicle is being transported to the port of exit" !
I really realllyyyyyy hope it gets onto one of the ships leaving in the next couple of days. However, given all the week 14 and 15 cars waiting at the port, I reallyy realllyyyy doubt it. I ordered mine on 3/31. But it was sitting on "On Order" for almost two weeks. It started production on 4/11 or so and was finished 4/18. Compared to some of you guys, it looks like I lost a lot of time "on order." |

Yeah I happened to catch one of my dealer's allocations while it was still in 111 status. It went "in production" just a couple days later so I didn't lose much time in "On Order" status at all.
Oh well, we're all in the same spot now, just have to cross our fingers and hope that we make one of the boats coming in over the next week. Dan |
