then you pay for 1 ticket and the taxes on the 2nd ticket but I found a better rate just looking online and paying for 2 tickets. Last edited by Papethova; 09-12-2011 at 02:34 PM.. |

Don't get your hopes up too high!! Not every dealer is as generous as his. Here is the link explaining the BMW ED Program. The usual discount is only 7% off MSRP, not including Options + any additional bargaining you can get from your dealer. The 2 for 1 Airline tickets can be beaten and day of the week at places like Expedia. http://www.bmwusa.com/Standard/Conte...erYourBMW.aspx

yes.. however if adobee is looking to upgrade to a 2012 1 series (non M) from his 2008... he should be able to score a really good deal... And of course one can make a screaming deal on an E90 M3 right now.
Agree on the 2 for 1... I got my tix via American Airlines for cheaper than the 2 for 1 (plus taxes) deal from Lufthansa. |

You can beat the Lufthansa deal on the tickets by at least 20% without even trying hard. I could have saved myself at least $10k by paying MSRP here in the states and staying the hell out of Europe! The good news is that I had enough AmEx points when I get back to pay for half of a new Les Paul on Amazon! |

I meant you can score Lufthansa tickets for less. The BMW ones were 2700 I found them on Lufthansas site for 2050. I ended up paying 2800 since I had to reschedule my flight last minute to a week later |

To the OP.. depending on the vehicle.... and depending on how many people are going, (two is definitely the easiest number) an ED experience can easily be the same price or even cheaper than buying the car here... plus you still get the car delivered to you again here! |

I wish man....I lucked out on that one. The Air Force doesn't usually let Communication Officers touch the network . Most of us are project managers.

I'll definitely agree that international Lufthansa flights are a good experience. The meals weren't terrible and included wine, and the hot towels were nice too.

I am going to accelerate the whole trip into a 8-12min video. I have 220 GBs of video 1423km was just in the M, I dont even know how many kms were in the rental. Wet day was fun for the simple fact of where I was and what I was doing, but having zero familiarity with that track coupled with a new car and rain in a foreign country made for a very slow lap. Its ok, one day I will be back. |

There is no shame in taking it slow on the ring.... I've heard a lot of stories about people totaling their cars on the ring. Are you going to put the sticker on your car?

I did buy the sticker, kinda steep at 6 or 8 euros, still debating where it will go. |

looking forward to this....Awesome that you were able to make an extended trip... i definitely wasn't pushing it in my car either.. tearing through roads around corners and (for me), race tracks is one thing.. but the thought of crashing your brand new car, in a foreign country, with unknown insurance, repair, and other hassles, before you even get it home, is enough to temper most red mist. NO WAY did I want to be 1M Crash #5 Last edited by M3 Adjuster; 09-16-2011 at 03:14 PM.. |
