Ben,
These wheels would be 4 months if I can get the project expedited by having 3-5 people sign up now. Otherwise they'll just happen along with the other wheels. A few people were already ready to put down funds to do so. I'll be giving them 10% off and free shipping in trade for the wait. I don't really want more people then that signing up as I don't like having people wait, but in this case it provides a benefit to the entire group. PM me if you're interested in the extra savings. |

Sorry about that WAY. I'm not 100% sure if the 18x10" wheels will be arriving at the same time or not. But yes you could combine them into the groupbuy. The price on the 18x10" et25 wheels is $324

Thanks Paintpro! Ok I think the list now looks like this. Feel free to change this if I have stuffed up especially for those on the list!
Official list for the 18x8.5 and 18x9.5 1 series wheels: 1. WhiteSled 2. larryn - hyper silver (I assume that's the RG-R like finish) 3. BERK 4. So Quick 5. wnta135 - hyper silver - 4 of the 8.5s and I'll run 245s all around 6. WAY - 18x9.5 et62 and 18x10 et25, Antracite but possibly bronze/gold if that becomes available! 7. Da Boy - Anthracite and possibly hyper silver |

Here's a really low quality grainy image from the factory of a 4x100 anthracite wheel. I should have the wheel in hand later this week and will take actual photos of the thing, and not these cell phone style pics

Cannot wait to get these. Btw, I like that the lug bolt mating surface chamfer is milled with no paint. I've had issues at past events with properly torqued lug bolts backing out because of painted surfaces. It's no fun having your wheel pass you at a driving event. |

Is there a cutoff date for this group buy yet?
I'm wanting the Rotas because of the style, but it's questionable whether that's going to happen and these are my second choice by far. |

Here's an example of a true production wheel that has the lugs properly capped prior to painting Quote:
Due note the offset difference between those wheels and these. There is no rear wheel with offsets remotely close to these in this width So they will be the best wide-rear fitment out there. -Eddy |

Eddy.. stop posting different colors! Now you've got me thinking about asking for flat black.
Are those flat black ones 17" or 18" samples? Most of the mounted wheels you've posted seem to be 17", from the looks of them. |

Oh believe me, I know about the offsets. When it comes to fitting wide rear tires, you've got the best package going by far. I'd like to have both sets. |

These look like a great product. They're priced like th TR Motorsports, but this is a forged wheel!!

Let me get this straight... You are swapping out parts designed by some of the top engineers in the world because some guys sponsored by a company told you it's "better??" But when you ask the same guy about tracking, "oh no, I have a kid now" or "I just detailed my car." or "i just got new tires."

With rolled rear fenders were able to stuff a 265/35/18 Dunlop Direzza Star Spec in the rear of our car using a wheel that gives us 7mm LESS clearance than OEM. As Eddy noted earlier, the Star Specs run much wider than your "average" 265 wide tire, probably one of the widest 265's you can buy. So depending on the brand/model a 275/35/18 may also fit back there. |

I've had 275/35/18 Hoosiers on the rear of my car, unrolled, lowered, with no rubbing at all. Hoosiers are known to be large too. I suspect that with these wheels may allow for them to be run on our cars. Granted, it was on 8.5" wide wheels, so the contact patch may be slightly altered, but they did fit...

I agree!.. they do look good, but the 8.5" wide wheel is not the correct fitment for a 275 tire. A 9.5" wide wheel would be though!
Btw, I'm told that the BMW Performance Wheels for the 1 series are the same as the Style 135 wheels, except with material removed from the face, and a different finish. Other than that, they're pretty identical. |
