As said on this forum a few hundred times, some countries, Australia included, pay well over US$100k for the car, an exhaust at $6 - $7k then doesn't sound so bad (same money asked by Porsche for their sports system on a cayman for example, though with ZERO performance gains quoted). I guess if I was asked to pay that much money for a system for my US$40k V8 Holden Utility.... I just wouldn't, simple as that. Having seen the pace car at Welt and fell in love with both the aesthetics and sound of the car, me want the zorst |

I was considering the exhaust note as part of the Style... but yes.. certainly the value per dollar looks more in line when looking at non US pricing.

Buying Akrapovic is like buying art, it gets expensive, but worth every penny.

Yeee, it's here
So first remarks; with wireless kit off (default) it is quiter than stock. When it is on, yes, it is on You could here the difference from the clip; normal start (warm car) with default settings, than the kit is turned on, the valves are moved and... well hear it: Youtube teaser So this is complete evolution system with wireless kit option and carbon tips. |

Sorry but their are far better deals on exhaust systems that will do exactly the same thing as far as sound and performance. Once they are full of road grime, no one knows the difference anyway. |

Are most guys choosing to go with the Akrapovic Downpipe and be forced to tune or just the evolution system. Curious what everyone that ordered akrapovic is going with.

There has been little or almost no info on the Akra DP. We will have to wait and see what comes out of Akra in the next couple of weeks. If DP is a must, the AR catless or race catted DP's are the best out there in terms of quality and fitment. |

He wasn't a Tech but he DID say that the Evolution system would not be quite as loud or aggressive as the MotoGP car. I'd ASSume that it's probably just a matter of slightly different resonator (if installed?) or muffler design. (Or as simple as, the MotoGP car had a prototype maybe??)

Waiting on guinea pigs like you . I quite like the stock tips, but the glossy carbon tips might match the rear diffuser better. Only if they would make a glossy titanium - but I guess titanium is never glossy.

Akrapovic 1M exhaust
Without the wireless kit all exhaust will be routed through the muffler and the bypass would be blocked off.
The slip-on system is available with the wireless kit as well. |
