That's damn impressive for rattle can. Had no idea you could achieve that type of gloss with some buffing.

The real key is wet sanding the clear coat. Really brings out the clarity.

Looking good, especially for rattle can. Think you can get the surface smoother with compound and polish? Looks like a good amount of orange peel from the picture.

I could. However I want to match the rest of the car and we all know BMWs orange peel...

I hear ya. Could always compound the whole car. Nothing I love more than when I get it perfect.

Then again, black always looks good for approximately 2 seconds until the wind blows and it's immediately ruined.

Just out of curiosity, how is the quality of the door cards? I am in no position to purchase a set but was wondering if it "replaces" the plastic oem door cards or is it an inlay? I figured it's the former, but just wanted to make sure. Thanks for your time!

The door cards are full replacements. The weight difference is pretty crazy.

Quality is top notch. All Revozport products I own are OEM quality and fitment.

Both fenders done. Moving on to prepping the front bumper. To humid this week in MD... so painting will have to wait until it drops.

I would absolutely love to see the exact process and supplies needed for just one of these panels. I can't get over the fact that this is rattle can paint!

I can document the process on the front bumper.

Humidity dropped today allowing me to paint this morning. Hopefully I will get to wet sand and buff this coming weekend so I can be done with paintwork for a while.

Still changing my mind everyday when it comes to wheels. Need to make a decision soon...

Small update. I didn't wait long enough for the paint on the bumper to cure and burned through it while buffing about a week ago... going to have to wait until the bumper is physically on the car to buff it correctly.

In other news wheels have been ordered. After changing my mind countless times I decide to keep the Pyrat Clone theme and went with AG M359's. Something affordable for the temporary awkwardness until the rear is done and then proper wheels will be in order.

Also organized the living space to clean up body panel clutter.

M359's came in. Repainting the bumper this week and hopefully starting the tear down this coming weekend.
