These were also the stock grilles for the 1M. I put these on my 135i as well. The 135i is the only 1er (in the US) that came with the all chrome grilles. Not sure about other places and their versions of the 1 series.

How about shadow line /black chrome surrounds with black slats?

Not the double slat, but matches the trim really nicely and would look amazing on SG.
