Finally, I posted a new thread in the off topic forum searching for cowboy fans but I found none. I am a big cowboys fan as well, my family and I were at the game when Emmitt broke the rushing record, what a great day that was. Anyways why are you unhappy with them?

But it could be worse. You could be a Redskins fan. Unfortunately despite a huge budget they are still not where they want to be. It's been painful to watch. I'm a Pats fan and have enjoyed their recent success after years of being in the cellar. But frankly, I just love watching a good football game. I can't wait for preseason to over, because preseason isn't normally about good football. However preseason does whet the appetite and I'll take what I can get. Anyway what does this have to with the 1er, BMWs, or just cars in general? My apologies for getting off track. It's hard to stay on topic sometimes. :iono: |

Is active steering a good or bad thing? I've never experienced a car with this, however it sounds good on paper, but thinking about it, sounds bad.
Any input from current BMW active steering owners? Just wondering because I am looking at the 335i optioning on BMWUSA, and it's a $1,400 option. ALSO and who has done individual program, if BMWNA allows us to custom the 1 series, how long does the process take? |

I have Individual on my current car (custom interior) and it didn't add any additional time. However, that may have been because it's an M3 and the Individual factory and the M3 factory are housed in the same location so it doesn't take much time to take it off the M3 line and bring it over to the Individual line.
Usually you can expect 1-2 weeks additional time to the production date. Oh, and active steering sucks.

Because it does get down to the 20's and 30's in the Winter, and it is humid here, so it feels like its really in the teens. Its not a dry cold, its a wet nasty bone chilling cold.

Emmitt - brush with greatness - kinda
Hey Lips,
Emmit Smith and I went to the same high school - Escambia in Pensacola, FL, though not at the same time. I am significantly older that Mr. Smith. Check that... Mr. Smith is significantly younger than myself. Our HS team was a perennial door mat (especially when I played), until he came along. He, literally singlehandedly lead the team to 3 or 4 consecutive state championships. They've had none since he left for the Univ. of Florida. He is a remarkable talent. And apparently a nice guy, too. I've never met him. I've always been a closet Cowboys fan, especially while he was playing. We don't get no stinking NFL here in LA. There's only about 12 million potential ticket buyers, so why take the risk? :iono: Sorry for the off-topic content. ein-er |

Haha that is awesome. He is actually a real nice guy. I only met him once when I was like 9 or 10 years old. He was doing an autograph signing down at Joe Robbie Stadium...
