Guys, I am very excited about seeing how your cars take shape. I spoke to Andrew today and am impressed by the red carpet treatment he has planned for you out-of-towners. I hope I get a chance to see the expressions on your faces when you take delivery on the 18th!

Professor, Thanks for your comments. Truth is we wouldn't have found Andrew and certainly would not have trusted him with this project if it was not for recommendations from yourself, Way and numerous others on this site.
Thanks all. Mike... |

Let's have a GTG after your delivery Mike. Maybe we all meet up in the afternoon? Or we give you an hour or so with Andrew to go through things and we all meet at his shop?

You know I was thinking that because of the proprotionally more radical stuff we are doing to our cars here in Australia compared to the average bloke in the US, and because SBM stands alone at the cutting of edge of doing it all for us, it probably makes Andrew the most qualified 135i modder this side of Germany!
Which does NOT mean he should increase his labor charges!! |

Why? I don't need the rain to provoke slides if that is what you mean. Easily done with the current set up. I have not driven in the rain yet actually. Btw, I took the car down to a piece of road I know really well a couple of nights ago, and for the first time in any car I have driven, I was getting a bit scared of the sensation of speed and was backing off. I don't know if it's because I am getting old, or because the car is frighteningly quick now with the shorter gear ratio. I mean it just goes through the rev range that much faster. I was also able to provoke to nice controlled slides in the lower speed corners. Nice. (if the law enforcement is reading this, it was a private road!)

You are getting old WAY. It happens over time me thinks.
I think Andrew should get promoting your car and you can get some back from him. That will involve a big fat sticker on the car.

It is a nice car!
3 rotor for 300 hp though??? That is not a max tune LOL. It is easily a 500hp car in the hands of Jap tuner. Seen the RE Amemiya 3 rotor RX-7?
