Wow. Glad to hear you are ok. The amazing part is that your door frames look almost intact. A testament to BMW. I had a serious rear-ender 2 years ago and I am a true BMW believer for car crash worthiness.
Take care. Doesn't look fixable. PS. Is that coolant from the engine up front? |

As for the fluid on the ground...Ya...coolant...possibly something else too. I never bothered to check. I was pushed into the car in front of me hard enough to at least crack the radiator. Front bumper was still intact...but there was...internal bleeding!

Picked up the replacement today. This will help me put this whole mess behind me. Oh...and the new side mirrors ... are huge compared to the 2009 model year! I can see better...but I kinda want the other little ones back now lol.

People like this on the road are exactly why I have a commuter car. I got into the very same type of accident just 3 months ago. Hyundai not paying attention (however not drunk) plowed into me, pushed me with locked up tires into a Tundra and pushed both of us into an Expedition.
Now my Focus has a new paint job, and my 1 is safe. Down here in SoFL, Fort Lauderdale is "roughly" ok, but driving in Miami is like driving in a third world country, with idiots driving junk-filled pickup trucks in the left lane of major highways at 40mph and then they cut across 4 lanes of traffic to make the exit ramp they are about to miss. My Focus is such an extreme far FAR cry from my 1, but it does its job oh so well of protecting my 1, it gets its street cred. Oh, and even my wife says that one of the two WORST drivers in existence are "Ford Expedition Drivers", she has some very choice words to say about Ford Expeditions, and I wholeheartedly agree.

Ahh, the curse of the ti. Mine's been rear ended 3 times in the 10 years I've driven it on a daily basis. In the other 22 years of driving: just once. Must be something about the stubby rear end that makes people want to get too close.
