Hey guys,
I just picked up my 2012 yesterday and I am deciding whether or not to paint the stock wheels gloss black, or just grab a set of vmr701's and call it a day. The only photos I have found with these rims painted black on a black 135i were at bad angles. I'd rather not go through the trouble of painting them if I won't be happy and it would probably drive down the resale value. If anyone can help out, I would much appreciate it. If I don't paint my rims, I'm tossed between the black and hyper-silver 701's (gunmetal is nice, but wish it was gloss). They both look great, it's a tough call. I found a few photos on this thread, let me know any thoughts. I'm going 18's and dropping 1.2" are all the 701 pictures below 19's? Last edited by 370z-135i; 12-27-2015 at 07:09 PM.. |

I have ACR-8s as well with 18x8.5 and 18x9.5 running 235/265. I want to go a bit lower but don't want to rub.

I'm running 235/40 and 265/35 with Eibach Pro-Kit springs. I also have a smaller spacer in back.
