This is my Alpine White 135i. It has a few BMW Performance parts fitted and I absolutely love the car! This is my fourth BMW 1 Series having had 2 x 118d 3 doors and a 123d 3 door prior to this one. |

Doesn't the stage 2 plug right in line with the MAP connector? Is it just PNP?

I'm not sure if it does for you because you have an n54 car. For the n55 the harness is much easier to install as it just plugs right into sensors. The n54 harness was a bit more complicated and is mostly all installed in the dme where you have to swap electrical connectors and put different wire bundles together. But maybe if you had jb4 already and are just upgrading to stage 2 maybe it just plugs in to the map. Can't say for sure as I have an n55.

Indeed it is! Just picked it up exactly 1 week ago haha. My first manual car.
I was really lucky to snap it up when I did because it was pretty much exactly what I was looking for (N54, AW, coupe, manual, low kms) and it had heaps of the mods that I was looking to do to my car plus some more. Still has suspension mods to go but if anything that's a plus. Still get to do some tinkering of my own |

Awesome, going by his thread it was a well modified car.
Interested in your thoughts on the Harness bar. |

It's very solid and it looks pretty perfect for a harness set up, definitely better than hooking it up to the child seat anchor anyway. From the brief look I had around in it, it requires some unreversable modification to fit the cage. 2 holes need to be cut in the boot lining for the rear strut bar and 2 holes and some padding needs to be removed for the hoop behind the seats. Those 2 items are bolted in there pretty securely but the rest of the cage like the X-brace and the harness bar can be removed pretty easily to allow use of the rear seats. If you want, I can take some closer pictures of it for you. |

Here you go. There's a picture of the rear strut bar bolt-in, the hoop bolt-in and the hoop + harness bar behind the seat.
Figured I'd throw in a picture of the car I took yesterday after installing the CF mirror caps, BMWP Grills and Forgestar F14 wheels too! |
