yet another question on financing... I have pretty good credit, just bought a house. how does buying a house and the 300 credit inquiries affect my viewed credit score? I know i need to wait for the credit inquiries to fade away, but how long should that take?
and this is a sweet thread, thanks for the good reads |

Buy back usually only occurs when you have the same problem over and over than can't be fixed properly (like it keeps coming back). From why I've read on HPFP, you have to go through 3 new pumps to get BMW to buy the car back from you. If you had some stuff fixed/recalled and they successfully replaced it then they're not gonna buy it back from you.

UdubBadger,
well maybe that was an overstatement, but I must say there was a rediculous amount of inquiries. I know "too many" inquiries hurt your credit. The first credit report was a 820 something, short sale purchase process ensued, last credit report was a shocking 740 something. I was pissed, but what can i do about it? |

Like I said, debt to income ratio is a very large factor in your FICO score. If you've taken out a loan recently, used a little more room on your revolving accounts/cards or have any accounts that at 80% full or above it will decrease your score. Not to say 740 is bad by ANY means... the national average is like in the high 500's/low 600's from what I remember reading a while back. I wouldn't be too upset, 740 is plenty good to get you a good rate with BMW Financial. Hell my 1st one I think I had a 620 with like $50k in student loans and got my lease no problem. |

If I agreed to the October lease rates, can I still qualify for the holiday credit? I'm going to sign all the paperwork in a couple of weeks since I take ED on Dec 29.
Thanks |

Dealer
I just bought a very nice and very new 2011 135i in Nov. (lease) The wife will never let me do this but i still have to ask to cure my curiosity. Can I hand in my lease and in return jump into a lease for the 1M (should it be leaseable when it hits show rooms). Is this even possible regardless of the cars being mentioned? thanks in advance.

if you got a good deal, you can find someone to take over your current lease. try swapalease.com yes, bmw will definitely allow leasing when it comes out, however the residuals won't be great at first. same with the APR's - instead of the normal 0.9 - 2.9 or 3.9, they will probably give it standard rates like they're doing with the X3's right now. |

Your dealer should not have charged MACO on an ED in the first place.

The Training Fee is not applicable to European Delivery BMWs.
