The N55 135i exhaust system will be a full stainless system with a muffler and resonator, letting me delete secondaries and have a cleaner flow. My current exhaust is not the best, as the shop that did it did shitty work lol. Fingers crossed on power, bob was saying we could pickup 25whp from the e85 and another 20whp from the MILVS, add the full exhaust with secondaries and a better flowing airbox, we shall see. Still have some parts collecting to do |

I can tell you I made 246whp/216wtq on a off the shelf BPC tune - that was before the MILVs. In terms of the exhaust, If you can grab the 135i stuff - fine, but the SS mid pipes into Vibrant Y pipe/Resonator and Muffler of your choice would be fine. I have a Borla XS and a Vibrant Ultra Quiet I plan to put on my exhaust here soon. |

In August i will get the car dynoed again from the same place, it was 254hp at the flywheel as well, you can also see two big dips and how fuzzy the chart looks, not smooth but i know there was an air leak, could had caused that. |

I can get a used 3 stage intake np, but finding someone to tune it for my car is impossible (virtually). |

The 130i, to my knowledge, is a "better" platform in terms of brakes and suspension (the E87 3/5 door ones). I believe the difference is the intake and exhaust and the gains will be minimal, unlike the US 128i versions (the amount of info is confusing the crap out of me honestly). As i said, i will dyno the car again since i found a leak/bad connection between the airbox and intake manifold and i do feel a bit more power, better idle and response. After that, we shall see, i really would like M3 front upper/lower arms, sway bars, RSB, LSD, wheels and seats. So yeah, big list but one step at a time first |

For now, i think the sway bars will be the biggest "bang for buck" upgrade, but that rear bar is a PITA and probably do the RSB and diff all together. The M3 front arms, i mean if they only bring in more camber, i can do without them, since the KW installer knocked out the pin on the V3s and i'm running -1.7 up front. Power wise, i am at 234 with a leaky intake, so i could be 238 at the wheels, we shall see next month. But i really do not wish to mess around too much right now, still trying to move and get a new job. |

Well...another set of DISA valves failed...went with Genuine BMW this time instead of the Vaico brand that ECS furnishes with the 3 Stage Manifold kit.
Anyway, we are back up on power...I pick it up at BPC tomorrow... This has been a rather frustrating and expensive experience with 2 sets of valves failing in relatively short order. You can see the power gains from the restored 3 Stage manifold on the dyno sheet... |

Yeah, I don't get it either...
I'm no mechanic or engineer...just a guy with an ever thinning wallet since I bought this thing...much by choice...some, not so much... Last edited by varoadking; 07-18-2018 at 06:57 PM.. |

Installed my West Coast Riots Racing big bore throttle body on my 128i today.
https://westcoastriots.com/shop/auto...ne/light-tire/ Acceleration is much smoother and more responsive, even before racking up miles or time for adaptations. Looking forward to another dyno at some point to see what it means there. |

I'm from Sydney Australia, been going through the MILVs thread. The results look really good.
I have an E87 130i Steptronic RHD. Keen to get MILVs, N54 intake swap, trying to find who would do a RHD header to maximise the tune. Anyone know if there is a tune available for the Steptronic transmission? I have a GM GA6L45R transmission. |

I can tell you that it has improved throttle response greatly, and the engine doesn't bog down on decel...rather, it's a steady, measured decline in RPM's. I'm really happy with it... |
