cheers,
i didn't make a diy when i installed my ar occ. it's simple enough, however, that you should be able to do it. i try and explain it in a few steps: -remove cowl -remove engine cover -locate pcv valves, there's two on the passenger side of the engine compartment (edit- i don't know how AU cars are setup. it's the left side if you're looking at the car from the front) -you have to remove the "blocks" from the pcv valves, it's easy enough -run the hoses over the engine and towards the front of the engine bay -attach the occ to the power steering fluid resevoir. -insert and clamp down the hoses. use the arrows on the occ to figure out which attachments to put the hoses on -put cowl back on, you're good to go! -check occ every few weeks for oil, drain as necessary sorry that i don't have pics, it's really pretty simple though. |

this is a great diy install of an occ. the only thing that's different is the mounting position for the ar occ. that's very easy, just bolt it to the existing mounts of the power steering fluid resevoir

something weird to add about my ar design occ: i don't think my car suffers from oil blow-by, i've had the occ installed for almost 3 months and it's still dry

Hey Bryce, are you running a bov with upgraded charge pipe? Which one? Are you using the stock intercooler piping? I'm not sure what setup to go with using the HPF FMIC.

I have evolution racewerks charge pipe and meth elbow with stock intercooler and piping but hpf has a charge pipe that includes piping I think now. Check that out if u have their intercooler. Evolution makes very good products for or cars also though.

Yeah I know mate, I'm very keen but summer is approaching here in Oz and I need to sort something out asap. I'm not in a position to order the HPF FMIC and then have it shipped back to weld on the new connections because that would cost me a fortune in shipping costs. I'd love it if they released this entire new setup in say 2 weeks max Have you got any pics of your setup? What's the meth elbow? sorry for the newbie questions |

Nice one bryce, very useful thread, like the idea.
Hope you don't mind me chipping in with a link to our Project 135i: http://www.vividracing.com/blog/cate.../project-135i/ Might give the guys some ideas on what's achievable. We also have the 'Ask a Pro' section: http://www.vividracing.com/blog/rand...or-product-qa/ You're doing an excellent job on this thread though bryce, but thought I'd add the link, just in case Graeme |

METH elbow is the 45 degree elbow at the end of the charge pipe. IT is the rubber one on stock. Check out the link below... 1st picture shows meth elbow with a meth injector installed. METHANOL injection http://www.n54tech.com/forums/showth...ighlight=Build |
