I need to do a complete photo shoot. The inteior is grey, and Looks pretty nice. I was originally going to get black but decided it was too dark for Le Mans Blue.

Thanks. I went ahead with Le Mans/Gray/Gray Poplar on my 135i Coupe M Sport DCT. It just completed production today and is awaiting transport to port. Should have it by late October. I'm looking forward to contributing my own pics to this Official Le Mans Blue thread.

The Blue on Gray interior looks nice indeed, mine's waiting for a ship at the port... so excited!

Yup, I'm pretty excited for my two-tone gray/black interior. I'm also expecting mine to have the gray poplar wood trim. At least, that's what my order spec sheet has, but I've noticed that the BMW website "build your own" has a glitch where the picture will remove the poplar trim whenever the M Sport package is added. To get the image posted below, I selected the regular Sport package (notice the lack of anthracite headliner on the pillars).
Hexley - Our cars are apparently hangin' out together right now, because my status is also "awaiting transport". Congrats on your car...enjoy it. You have excellent taste in both exterior and interior color selection. Last edited by H2Orower; 09-26-2010 at 10:08 AM.. Reason: image size |

Le Mans Blue 128i cabrio
The interior is all grey with the poplar wood trim. I was orgiginally going to get one with all black trim and seats, but the grey looks fantastic!

Here's the 2011 model Coupe with the two-tone gray interior, September 2010+ cars have this.

It's a stunning example of the 1 series H2O, I'd say it's kind of like a fancier version of my baby I did my window tints today - ought to be factory equipment for cars headed to Florida. As I lease, I only went to the legal Florida limit, but it's quite a big difference - car is less of a greenhouse now.

Spartanburg
On a recent trip to Spartanburg to the performance center, I had an opportunity to drive a 135 and the M3, M5, X5M, and 760 on the track. Out of all of them , I liked the 135i the best. It feels more nimble and seems as quick as any of them. My mind just can't process that there may be a few tenths of a second difference. My second choice, believe it or not, is the 760. It's hard to believe that a luxury car could tear up the track.

I can now see my car is ready to be built, but is not on the schedule. It is now showing in the queue as Space Gray 135i Coupe with "M" package and Premium package. I ordered a Le Mans blue 135i Convertible, with all the packages and HK stereo. I called my dealer and he said that they took the scheduled build for the coupe and will modify it to make my convertible. I understand that flexible scheduling and production lines make it possible, but I asked for a copy of the build sheet nevertheless.
