Hey guys I have a friend that works for a tint shop in Arlington (near the GM plant) that has always done good work. Tint and the clear bra (including the door handles, mirrors, and rear quarter panels) set be back about $1,100. He said the 1M was one of the harder cars to put a bra on. PM me if you want his info.

Cars and coffee?
Anyone going to Cars and Coffee Saturday? I'm going to get there early and try to get a spot with my VO 1m.
Hit me up if you're going to be there. Steve@doublebagel.com.

I met up with MNIMEJCW at C and C this morning. IOt would be cool to get a bunch of 1Ms lined up together there sometime. It would be quite the display. Of course, we'd all have to get there pretty early to have space to park together. Steve

Really a whole row of 1M's at C&C right across from all the M3/M5s would be cool!
Nice to meet you today Steve. Hope to see you at the track sometime in the near future. |

I know its a ways off but this might be a good opportunity for a DFW 1M get together...
The Lone Star Chapter of the BMWCCA is hosting the Annual Spring Club HPDE. We will be at Motorsport Ranch in Cresson Texas on April 28-29. The best thing is we are running the 3.1 complete track at this HPDE. Spots will fill up QUICKLY. We are having 3 run groups and a race. Advanced cost is $250 for the weekend Intermediate and Novice are $295 for the weekend. The reason for the cost difference in for an instructor to be in the car with you. Registration is open now on Motorsportreg, com Here is the direct link: http://www.motorsportreg.com/index.c...0D121BAB67E071 This is NOT just a BMW only event! any questions can be sent to: Steve Hodges HPDE Chair at shodges883@gmail.com M3 Adjuster - feel free to share any additional comments since you are the "Lone Star BMW CCA Chapter president, Chief Driving Instructor" |

Well the track *is* the perfect environment for a 1M....... I would bet that we will have about at least 6-8 registered at the spring DE. I'd definitely like to have a get together before then.... C and C is a struggle for me.. (to get up in the AM!) I know i won't make the March C and C.. |

It's been a long time since I really looked forward to a DE but I'm looking forward to this one! Also gives me a target time to get all the 'enhancements' installed
Oh and that's not true. I was really excited for the last DE too. I got to instruct 1M Tex in his 1M. Not many folks get to ride in a 1m before picking there own up. I got to drive one on track Last edited by robertm; 01-11-2012 at 07:50 AM.. |

Saw a VO car @ 190 and the DNT on my way home last night.
Then this morning was cruising across the Bush with another AW 1m. For such a rare car I am starting to see a lot of them. |

I haven't either. Would like too, might be more fun. Shame you can't just pay by the session or even half day out there. $150 is too much for a just a couple run sessions, which is all I'd be able (or really want) to do..
