no, not if you restrain the ballast correctly.

Got the same set of BMS 4led AE through Mike@n54 tuning, can't complain on both the quality of products and outcome. This is perfect especially considering the price.

Thanks Mike. At least to me, I have no issue with the difference on light output between outer and inner rings. This is perfect for me.

Happy to oblige! They're not pure daytime shots because I just installed them after I got off work this evening (~6:30pm EST) right before sundown.
As everyone else has said, pictures don't really do them justice, they're much brighter/pure white in person. I was actually kinda frustrated that the pictures weren't showing how awesome they really were.

I've noticed that my BMS angel eyes have some noticeable spots that are brighter than the rest of the ring. The spots are mostly at the bottom of the inner rings where it almost looks like the ring is broken up into bright and dim sections.. Is this normal? Since this has turned into a general BMS angel eyes thread I thought I'd ask here.

I just got my set in the mail and tried to do the install. Ran into a few issues:
1. Is the BMS LED supposed to lock into place when inserting and rotating clockwise? It is my understanding that the light can only go in ONE way, but when I twist to tighten, it doesn't seem lock into place like the stock bulb. 2. Does it matter which way the H8 connector (the two prong plug) is connected to the BMS LED, like do I need to worry about a positive/negative? There doesn't seem to be any markings on the BMS unit, but I do see a A and B marking on the connector from the car. Thanks. |
