Followed the sale of one over night on Ebay that sold for just over 200 Euro. I may have to move mine up a couple of shelves to make sure it remains out of reach from the kids if they're worth this much!

I went to a toy fair here in the UK and there they sat on the counter. Perhaps I was very lucky as the chap selling them didn't even know what they were hence the very low price I paid for them.

They tend to concentrate and make shed loads on Ford and Porsche models, for some reason BMW models arent that sort after in the UK. Even picked up a CSL 1:18 for £30 and have seen these in Germany sell for over £100.

I think it has more to do with BMW licensing the "rights" to make a limited run or batch of models. I think BMW totally goofed on the 1M. In the flesh (live car)and the toy model!
