Sounds like a good idea. But as for myself, I don't have the time to do it myself or return back to the dealership.

I just talked to my CA and the N54 engines have been given the green light and my car is being released this weekend and I'll have it in Chicago mid next week!

My car got on a truck for delivery from Newark to New York today and will be at my dealer tomorrow!! They are all being released to carriers today.

My CA seems to have no idea, but he would be surprised if it arrived before Saturday (10/25). I'm taking delivery in Annapolis, MD, only 4 hrs from NY...does anyone else think that seems a little long? I arrived in port 10/1.

And .... I picked it up today. I'll follow up with some photos and review (very positive BTW) for the BMW of Concord. The new iDrive is great, really easy to use. This car is a beast!
