Two different articles in this issue with our 1M.
In the main one titled The Wild 13, it is compared to Lambos and Porsches and McLarens and Ferraris....it came in 5th beating out 8 other high-end cars including it's big brother the M5. In the second article it's compared with the M3 of course.

Aren't these cars the same bunch of the EVO's COTY? I mean even the photo of the 1M on the track with the blue M5 at the back is like identical from that issue! In ECOTY 1M finished third as most of you will remember behind only 911 GT3 RS 4.0 and McLaren and was ahead of 8 or 9 other cars, almost or totally the same cars.
Did Auto Bild really make a separate test or this is a translation and "editing" of the EVO? |

Thanks and you are right, no one posted a scan of that actual magazine before. Since you are home with a fever (get well soon) could you let me remind you that there was also a short section where EVO guys talk about what makes a car great and there Chris Harris talks about the 1M, says it is greater than the sum of its parts etc. I am at work and don't have my e-copy of that issue here, so I can't say the page number. Maybe you could complete this job by adding the scan of that particular page as well. Thanks again.
