Yeah, those original press photos of the cashmere silver E82 are what led me to believe I could be ok with the color.

This isn't a great pic, but here's the all black grill, which I also like with the black mirrors:

This photo proves that like with many BMW's, and especially the E82, less is more. Exterior-wise, it 100% doesn't need more than a mild suspension drop and one or two items from the BMW performance catalog.
I agree (look at mine), but at the same time I enjoy seeing what other people like to do to their cars.
Yeah, for sure. But my exterior is more stock than yours - Perf spoiler and painted diffuser - but I've burned cash inside, though.

Love mine too. Sport seats will improve the driving experience even more, I'd say.

Making a couple calls! Have a couple options nothing definite yet!

But once I decide will share details and a couple vids. Never got around making some proper vids of this setup like with the M2.

Looking forward to seeing and hearing.

I'm happy with my PE/Y-Pipe and PPK. Mostly drive with the windows down to hear that beautiful sound!

Standard 135is setup, except I don't have a 135is.

Edit: I added the PE, PPK1 (135is has PPK2) and the 313 wheels to my car in 2011. 2 years before the 135is came out. I guess you could say me and my car were ahead of our time. Now we're "a bit old and in the way." Says my wife. lol

Got home & ordered some parts off FCPEuro - Oil change kit, Water pump & thermostat refresh kit, Power steering reservoir & flush kit. They have a 5% code on google right now. Total for all those parts with the fluids(!) (Liqui Molly, BMW coolant & CHF11s was about the same as the water pump & thermostat from the dealer.
Got all the parts in last week. Was thinking about trying to tackle some of it myself, but then I called a friend of a friend who used work at a BMW shop & works on cars in the side. He did the water pump & thermostat, oil change & steering fluid flush/reservoir - my total with parts & labor was $812.

And a pic of the engine bay when he was done...

Deals! I think it's solid man! Glad you took care of all that!

I just installed the 3mm spacers we traded and the car ate them up like nothing. Just looking at full compressed rears I think I can pull off 10mm spacer in rear.

Gonna have to find a set to measure them before committing to buying them.

Rears... I thought you needed em for the fronts. 10mm rear? What offsets are you running?

Front is tight AF! I am not running any camber and pins are still there so the 18x8.5 with 235s rub a bit on the bumper tab. I already rolled the front and will later on take the dremmel to the bumper tab.

On the rear I am running 18x9.5 ET58 with 265s

The front wheels sit flush nicely but the rears fit a bit sunk in. So want to push them out and these 3mm didn't do much. And after compressing suspension in the rear I think 10mm would still clear.

This car looks fantastic, and the photos are excellent. I'd be interested in knowing what your guy shot these with (camera / lens).

You have me dreaming of wrapping my car, though doubt I will ever do it. I'd probably go with a green if I did.

I picked up a second set of staggered 262s from a forum member. Now I'm ready to go to 2 square setups - one 7" with street tires, and one 7.5" with track tires. The wheels came with a set of Falken Azenis 615k+ tires mounted, with enough life left for a couple of track days so I am now all set for 9/15! Once I wear these out, I'll shuffle tires/wheels to end up with my double square setup.

Also, if you've never tried Sonax Wheel Cleaner Plus, give it a shot. The stuff is absolutely incredible. Spray it on, wait a few minutes, then wash all the brake dust off with a hose. The wheels come out squeeky clean!

Nice! I've heard really good things about those tires (I almost bought some, but went with FFI500's). What size are they?
