Those look nice.
I went to our local Cars and Coffee. Lighter crowd due to the threat of rain, but it had a few people look over the 1er. I really like my performance exhaust and ppk1. Underpasses are a big pleasure.

^ You might want to buy another ratchet with a longer handle... More leverage.

True! But as long as he sticks with those socket sizes he won't need more leverage!

This was yesterday but I was too busy to post. My 1er got some unwanted attention from the local authorities yesterday, thanks to my tint and my hatred for a front plate. Yes, that's what I was pulled for, tint and no front plate. Booooored Ohio cop. Got a warning though, so flawless driving record intact

Got my car back after having in the shop for two days for its 10K service (oil change, brake fluid flush, microfilter replacement).
Ahh, the perfect weighting of the hydraulic steering and being able to stir through the gears manually as opposed to that numb electric steering and uninvolving auto tranny in the 328i loaner... The 128i is pure gold.

Yeah, then to anger. I had just spent 2 hours stuck in gridlock traffic in MI and then 30 minutes later this bored cop pulls me over. I remained polite, but I was quietly pissed off inside. That went away when he handed me the warning instead of the ticket he told me he was going to write.

Yeah Ohio State. My tint is 35%. I've been here for 3 years and only ran a front plate for a short time. This was the only time I didn't have my plate with me though. It was weird, I was on my vacation trip and I noticed a few times that I didn't have my front plate with me. I didn't think it was going to be a big deal, but for some reason I kept noticing that I didn't have my plate with me. I guess it was premonition or something because it ended up biting me in the ass. |

Way back, a little highway patrol cop pulled me over on the freeway to give me a fix-it ticket for not having a front plate... Napoleon Complex.

Took my 135i in last Tuesday to get some service work done prior to the 4yr/50k maintenance warranty expiration.
-New front brakes -Brake system flush -New center trim due to peeling -New fan button due to peeling -3rd cup holder installed (free of charge, apparently) -SB 12 17 13 update (car was stalling in certain conditions....will have to drive more to see if any different) .....aaaaand despite me requesting them NOT to wash it, they washed it which has resulted in swirl marks. This is after I spent 8+ hours last month with an orbital polisher (and other items) detailing the car On the upside, I did have a 2014 328i x-drive for a week to drive from here to Table Rock Lake (~300 miles one way). I know the rear seat passenger greatly appreciated it, lol

On a side note, I bought my IS a present. Well, it was kind of for me too. But the beast now has decent pair of slip-on driving shoes behind all 3 pedals. You don't even want to know what I've been driving in lately, but I've been forced to go barefoot most of the time. Well, not any more!
