Yep, it's easy to do both ways. The only little issue I had was getting the inner mounting plate on, but I got it in there after a few minutes of wrangling.

Here is a thread with a how-to PDF: https://www.1addicts.com/forums/showthread.php?t=216944

Yes, nothing regarding the fronts indeed.

As i said and as you mentioned, the pro with those hub swaps is if one gets the correct offset, one can eliminate the need for spacers.

But in my view, i am somewhat satisfied with what is available for the E82 right now. I mean Apex had dedicated two wheels just for the E82 in 17s and 18s up to 9.5". Yes i will admit, having concave and deep dish wheels are awesome visually, but after finding a UK importer of Apex wheels and for their price including shipping to me i really would just slap on some Apex wheels and be done with the car.

Obviously not everyone likes those wheels, or people such as yourself want more options, which is completely understandable and fine, which is why BMWs are similar to Legos, one can swap parts between various models and years and get what they want/desire

Interesting.

I had a car with a centre console just like yours, and I bought an armrest from its "rich version"...

I don't see myself not driving with my arm rested
Same here. I have really long arms and it's at just the right height.

Remember that dent I got from that walnut or whatever dropping and hitting my A-pillar?
I think I just got it out. Currently soaking the glue in rubbing alcohol and once the glue is removed, I can see how much of it I got out!

Didn't get it all out in one go, but I know that there are two small spots that I have to pull to make it 100%. The one dent turned into two smaller dents.
Using this kit:
https://www.amazon.com/ARISD-Paintle...ords=glue+pull

I started with this:

Which resulted in this:

A definite improvement, but I will have to finish this in the spring when the temperatures are warmer. Glue doesn't bond well in a 40F garage with car panels at/or below that temperature! I heated up the area with a hair dryer to make the glue bond to the A pillar. This was pretty fun and I am glad the product works. I will also remove some of the dents on my family member's cars too next year.

So close to 200k, you are 16k miles away from overtaking the most miles on a 1er officially on this forum! Pkaia24 still holds the record at 196k iirc.

No, maybe I will this weekend to get things warmed up. Or maybe I can apply a hotpack that people use for aching muscles And whisper to the car telling it that it will all be ok.

Then my wife will really think I love the 128i more than her!

The cluster had 87k-odd miles, I swapped EEPROM's, and it worked perfectly with a little bit of coding and some cutting of the tach faces (I couldn't figure out how to tell the needle that it reads to 8k on the 135i gauges).

Have used pdr many times, not expensive and I've never had a complaint= not worth trying to remove dents yourself.

I was quoted 250 for one dent on the quarter panel and paid 10 for the dent removal suction cup.

Define worth.

Boiling water is a dented plastic thing I believe- like bumpers. For the metal you at least want a heat gun, rather than a hair dryer. Perfect reason to visit HarborFreight...

As for mileage, the very concept of 200K miles is just amazing! My OCD would have me replacing every rubber/plastic whatever I could get to- mounts, hoses etc. That stuff is all sooooo oooooollllllllldddddddd...... Oh, and Congrats on the high mileage! The harder you drive it the more you love it!

I got 6 in my E82 comfortably once, and could have easily gotten 8. No pics that I can find but it happened, I swear!

Well, based on the specs of the wheel, don't you!? I'm more surprised you buy that face value than anything else.
Those wheels will fit with a fender roll, a spacer, and some camber. Idk what the problem is??
The problem is I had an e90 and had winter tires mounted on rims.

Tried them on the E82 and I got 3 inches of tire poking out the fenders.

Had to sell the rims and buy new ones (from an E36 or 46).

The offset on the e90/f30 is prohibitive on the e82. That's what we're discussing.

A spacer will only make it worse... lol I'm sure you don't have first hand experience with this
Nope...... Alright

Thanks! I love it and enjoy it thoroughly everyday . I launched it for the first time today (first time ever launching a car, btw), it was a brutal experience, I left some nice 11's on the pavement and I admired them as I drove the other way on the same road an hour later

Still working on the velocity stacks. New plan is S54 ITB's (for safety reasons), 3D printed flange adapter, MAF replaced by MAP, PCV heater delete, and crankcase vent relocation (straight to a catch can with atmospheric vent). hassmaschine and I are doing a little collaborating on this project...

Just got off the phone with my BMW dealer, there are only 8 pieces left for the N52 BMW Performance exhaust, they also confirmed that BMW will no longer produce these and "while stock lasts".

According to their system, these are the last 8 pieces in Germany, however a physical check at the storage is required to confirm, at least for the E82.

Looks like i will pull the trigger and get one, which means no more upgrades/new parts till Jan 2019 for me. Still need to install the M3 arms, RSFB and sway bars so it should keep me busy.

One Driver I see what your saying but I cant see trying something like this yourself unless its a beater= I'm picky about the appearance of my nicer cars. I have way more in them than they are worth on average- but its a hobby. My 2004 F350 with 48k miles has rust on the bed arches and underneath but do not bother to fix as it sits outside and worth little= I pick my battles.
