Ooh, Bama that IS better. That's a great picture. That's a great garage you got there. That coral red really does pop with the alpine white, even more noticeably so in the convertible to show it off more.
I won't put up more pics of my car since I imagine y'all are sick of seeing it for awhile. Giving everyone a vacation. Perhaps I'll put some up when I finally put my custom plates on, but might not do that for another few weeks (or months). |

That's right, you're down to just 8 more days for you! Also known as the longest 8 days of your life. Perhaps I'll post pics of the mineral grey-inspired custom floormats with contrast grey stitching I had made, though I actually may put them up for sale on here in the next couple of days as I think I'm going to go in a different direction and get either the blue-edged ones or perhaps the 1M ones. |

Nice build! Very similar to mine in terms of options.

The "Track My 2013 135is Coupe" status hasn't changed since July 27 when it advanced to "Finishing Touches"... I suppose the status of cars scheduled for PCD never changes to "At Your BMW Dealer"?

I can't remember the exact day but I know I was waiting for the status to be changed to "En route to U.S." for at least a week-10days. It shipped out on 8/20.

Updated Photos
Brought home the new 135is in early July, then left town for 4 weeks. It was killing me to think of this car just sitting there, gathering dust all that time. First thing I did when I got home was take it out for a spin. Still only have 250 miles on it. That's got to change.
Anyway, so I came home to a filthy, dusty new car and spent most of the early morning detailing it. I'm no photographer - these pix are about the best I can do w/ my camera Nice work to some of you guys and your professional-quality pix. Your cars look absolutely fantastic. One more thing - I did notice much more dust on the front driver-side wheel. I had read (a while back in this thread) some others had the same thing. |

Thanks! I appreciate it. I literally just posted in another thread about my concerns w/ getting the black on black. You can read my other post, but I was basically saying that I'm really pleased with how this one turned out. Definitely have the detailer's bag in the back to take care of this one, though. It's Jet Black, btw.

Absolutely great pics! What color is that? Black looks like it means business.
I noticed the tune on my car changing at about 600 miles or so. Now with over 1400 miles on it i have been getting on it more and the tune seems to be changing to my driving style. Time to get out on those mountain roads and have some fun |

Sadly I'm somewhat glad to hear that you've noticed a lot more brake dust on your front driver's wheel as I was the one asking people about that and didn't know if it meant something was wrong. I was curious because I'd put on the michelin pilot super sports after a few weeks and thought maybe they screwed something up when doing that that might be causing it. That wheel of mine literally gets 2-3x the brake dust as any other wheel. It's weird. You get the black with blue stitched interior? I also took a 3 week trip right after getting mine...was hard to leave her, but after a rental car for a few weeks, you really appreciate coming back to it, especially the steering feel. |

I did not get the blue stitching. As I mentioned before, I found a stripped-down 6MT with the options I wanted, but I had to "settle" on the exterior color and the interior. Mine is black leatherette, but I'm actually very pleased with it as well. The seats are wonderful - very sporty. In a perfect world, it would have had the blue stitching, though |

As for the wheels, I will say though, they are really easy to clean compared to most rims I've had, even though they look very ornate and potential hard to take care of. It's actually surprisingly easy to get your hands in all the lil grooves and behind the spokes with ease. Oh, if you still want a subtle hint of blue, you can buy a set of the special blue-edged floormats that come with the blue-stitched leather interior for like $100 or $110 (includes shipping). I've considered it. |

Got a part number for those? I'd like to pick up an extra set. The p/n on the mat is 106480-11, which doesn't seem to correlate to the blue edges. Google hasn't been much help

Got some of the info - Phil @ Reeves was able to find it based on me supplying part # 51477265440, which he said was for just the driver's mat, but that should help get to what you need. He said it was $114 for the full set (shipping included) and I even included this picture since needless to say, most people, even in the know probably wouldn't really know much about those rare floormats. Hope that helps. http://www.1addicts.com/forums/attac...1&d=1363461993 Last edited by gregthegr8; 08-23-2013 at 08:57 PM.. |
