is there a way to mod or code the 02 sensor (stock or aftermarket?) to read a higher flow as normal?

The reason there is no dp fix is b/c they haven't been able to fool the dme with one...even when they thought they had one, after a while it quit working the and dme figured it out. At least thats what I understand. It's not that nobody wants to make one, they have tried several times to make one. It's just nobody has been able to fool the dme. Pretty much if you're going to run a dp on this car, you're going to have to swap back to the oem one to pass emissions.
And for those asking, sorry I do not know the size of the o2 wrench off the top of my head. My buddy is a master tech at a dealer and lets me use his lift and tools, so I just grab it out of his rack and haven't thought twice. Now I live in a county in VA that doesn't require testing so I no longer worry about it. Although i may switch from my catted dp to fully catless soon.

I dunno if someone talked about this before but (I know nada about JB4 so this may be a stupid question):
If you run JB4 on map 0 (or whatever map turns off the JB4) is there a way to just have it clear the CEL light for the DP and/or prep readiness for 02? |

I live out in Winchester...not really nova anymore...Only PWC, Fairfax, Arlington, Loudon and Stafford counties require emission testing..registering your car down there would be a smart idea if you can get away with it. It would also mean you can run darker tint and no front plate if you so wanted.

If you guys haven't found a catless solution. Try Wagner's N55 high-flow catted downpipe. He guarantees no CELs and the workmanship is quite impressive. I got to check out a model today and was thoroughly impressed. http://www.wagner-tuning.com/BMW-135...gine_p_64.html
