PSS 225/255 fitment
After reading this posting as well as others it seems that the general consensus is that the 225/40-18 and 255,35-18 on stock wheels may rub for some time but will ultimately go away. Is there any risk of damage if you let them rub?

I'm not running PSS, but I am running those tire sizes on my stock 261s, lowered with Eibach Pro-Kits, and not rubbing at all. If you're at stock ride head I'm confident you'll be fine.
Not sure on the risk of damage part. It certainly can't be good for the tires... |

May just need to add a little more rear camber.
When I put my 265's on the rear, I had a bad rub on the right rear. Did another alignment on our new rack, turns out our old rack was giving bad readings and the rear camber was f'ed up. (had 1.2 on the right, and 2.2 on the left) Set the camber properly using the new machine. Rub gone. |

The suspension sits approx 10mm lower on the right side so when you take a fast left, the suspension puts the tyre already 10mm closer to the fender. The other possibility is that those of you who have used a 245/35-18 PSS before have probably by chance gotten the BMW star designated version which is slightly different to the non-star version. Likewise with the 255/35-18 PS2, it may have been a star or other make-designated version.
Then again, having slight variances in actual tyre dimensions for the same marked size is not rare |

Hi, I just bought the 313 rims off a e9x and placed them on my e82. I am experiencing rubbing on the rear. the rims are the 18" that came out as an additional option for the e9x for winter season. Is there a solution to the rubbing? Should I roll the rear fenders? My rear tyres are 255/35/18 MPS4.
