I have called the closest 3 dealers to me and they all say $300.
It sucks that you have to buy the AP first just to find out you have an older ROM and have to spend $300 more just to be able to use the AP. Then IF you get an update from BMW who is to guarantee that the AP will than support it?

Does this ap work without issue on canadian n55's? Or are we in the same boat as the australians and euro guys and will just have to wait a couple months?

Haha I've done some data logging and PSI has increased to approx 13.5 to 14.5 .... Torque is awesome and when changing gear it feels like a kick up the bum... The kick is great fun

i have a 2012 bmw, manufactured 12/21/2011, is it compatible for the access port. I am desperately hoping that since it was built in 2011 that somehow it is, pretty please?

I was ready to install my AccessPORT like a kid on Christmas only to get the dreaded ROM update required. I have the 9780B rom on my 2012 135i which is evidently shitty. Now I have to get the dealership to update the ROM. This should be fun. I do have the acceleration lag issue but I thought that was just a common feature of the car.

Did anyone else go from the 9780B ROM to a newer revision (I went to 98G0B) and then install the AccessPORT? Going from 9780B to 98G0B I encountered the typical "de-tuning" which people talk about - ie less pedal response, exhaust noise, etc.
If so, did you feel that after installing the AccessPORT seem to bring back the same amount of life that the car seemed to have before - especially in the lower RPM range? |

How's it going? Perhaps I just need to put some more miles on it and see how it feels. Perhaps a data log might show something. |
