The wing is attached to the trunk with Rivnuts, 6 on each side. 12 in total. I had the mounts custom fabricated, and they are large enough that they dissipate the force evenly across the trunk. I've had the wing off numerous times since originally installing, and there is zero deformation or bending on the trunk. No additional brackets inside the trunk, no. I've had the car over 150mph with the wing installed, and it was rock solid. The BC's are good for daily driving. Not bouncy, and not extremely harsh. I opted for the swift spring upgrade as well, which offer linear spring rates. I went with the default BC spring rates though, as I assumed they would be up to the task for the time being. If we're being honest, I plan on upgrading to Ohlins Road and Track suspension before this car has it's first track day. The BC's are good, but I don't think they'll perform how I'm hoping on the track.

BMS/ Phoenix Racing Port Injection Manifold & Carbon Fiber Interior Trim!
In preparation for running heavy concentrations of ethanol in the future, I decided to pull the trigger on a Phoenix Racing Port Injection Manifold from Burger Motorsports. I installed it with a set of injection plugs for now, until I can figure out the exact size injectors I want to run.
Install was a breeze, and it looks great! The stock plastic manifold was such an eye sore! The butt dyno says that it flows slightly better than stock. Top end pull seems a bit stronger now! Made a few changes to the interior as well. I am now running the Daytona Pro shift knob from WeAreLikewise. It is made from 304 Stainless Steel, and weighs a whopping 1.3lbs. The RTD shifter used to be slightly notchy with the BMW Performance knob, but the added weight now helps it slide effortlessly into gear. I like having an assortment of shift knobs on hand. Switching them out periodically changes the feel of the car more than you'd think and keeps things interesting. Also, finally received the carbon fiber interior trim kit that I ordered from Mashimarho a couple of months ago. The kit was custom made to order, and definitely worth the wait. It's beautiful! I was very happy to get rid of the wood grain.. Custom steering wheel from NRW should be here soon, and should tie the interior together nicely!

You are going to love the extra boost with PI. I pieced a kit together last month that had 950cc injectors controlled by a split second aic. Just finished dialing in e50 and the car is flying.
Looking forward to seeing what injectors and controller you go with. And also how much you like the extra boost!

What LPFP are you running? I have a Fuel-It Stage 2 Bucketed pump, with upgraded fuel line, and the Torqbyte BPM4 Fuel Controller.. Car runs great now, but unsure if my pump will be up to the task on E50 with port injection..

I have a stage 2 pump I got used three or four years ago. I don't remember the brand, but it is a bucketed 450 similar to a fuel it stage 2. I also have stock fuel lines and EKP (?) and everything is good to go on E50. I am flash only via MHD and a Wedge tune. Here is a recent log on E50 so you should be fine if you are planning to run similar boost, timing, and afr(using s p o o l s t r e e t because logs are really easy to look at on the phone). Also, my logs aren't always this beautiful with regard to timing corrections, but that is how this one turned out. https://www.s p o o l s t r e e t.co...-04-46-38.387/ no idea why this forum blocks ***********, here it is on datazap: https://datazap.me/u/houtan/rev-6-hi...30-31-32-33-34 I upped the ethanol to something like E75 to see if the fuel system can handle the same tune. Still dialing her in but will let you know how it goes. Quick question about your manifold: Were you able to retain the factory bracket for the HPFP hard line that attaches to the block and the bracket that holds the larger black hose that goes to the HPFP from the firewall side of the block? I guess a simpler way to ask is, did you have to remove any factory brackets to get the manifold to fit? One thing i don't like about a lot of the PI spacers is those things need to be removed, which I am not a fan of.

Awesome to hear that you're able to do all this on just a stage 2 pump and stock EKP! My EKP module started throwing shadow codes for overheating when I upgraded to the stage 2 pump. Instead of replacing with another stock EKP, I upgraded to the BPM4. The manifold fit great honestly. It even has 5 ports on the bottom that can be used for vacuum/boost sources, or plugged like I currently have them. Everything lined up perfectly. I didn't have to remove any of the fuel line brackets. The only thing that I had to delete was the bracket the Fuel Tank Vent Valve slides onto. There are no threads on the new manifold for that bracket to screw into. But this really isn't an issue. The valve sits in the same location as before, and I have a simple zip tie holding it in place, so it doesn't bounce around. I'm at work and can't view the logs at the moment (Military network blocks all sorts of random websites.) But will take a look later on my phone!

Thanks. Yeah she is definitely flying; 4th gear is just nasty.
When I dynoed I was 491hp/ 500tq at the wheel. Dyno and logs posted here https://www.1addicts.com/forums/show....php?t=1405434 Since then I have removed charge pipe meth, added PI, and an M4 flywheel. My boost is a few psi higher than the dyno and I feel like the lighter flywheel freed up some hp. I am definitely over 500 right now. Gave up on e75 and dropped it back down to e50. She was running ok but I want some headroom on the fuel system. Log from last night after I dropped the e back down. Definitely enough octane https://datazap.me/u/houtan/rev6-hig...og=0&data=3-15

That log looks absolutely insane. You're DCT right? That shift spiked you up to around 27psi of boost.. Crazy. Also looks like the M4 flywheel got rid of your cyl 6 timing corrections from the dyno logs. Who's your tuner? Wedge? Everything looks really good! I'd love to get a ride in that thing and see what it feels like at those power levels.. I'm still stuck with mediocre pump 92 until I move off island in a little over a year.. No ethanol here yet sadly.

Yeah, DCT and wedge tune. I think the post shift spike can be smoothed out but it drops to target quickly so I’m ok with it.
Having crappy gas really sucks. The 91ACN we have here is absolute trash. Have you tried boostane? I used that before going pi, stuff works.

I have a ton of it in my garage, and plan to use it until I move somewhere with E85.. I have an order placed for the "professional" blend, and want to see if that makes any difference over the premium. It would be nice to be able to run more than 18 psi without starting to get corrections! But the heat and humidity here, mixed with the sub-par gas, doesn't really leave me with a ton of options.

Do you have access and are you willing to run meth? If so, that stuff flat out works!!! And i was running it in what is debated as the less than ideal way, single nozzle through the CP. Even 91 octane and 18 psi, no biggie, logs were clean as can be. On top of that, my IAT was always at something awesome, 75 or 80 degrees. Getting a five gallon drum in socal is fairly priced at about $35. Only reason why I removed it was the quick connect fittings always developed leaks. At first it was the connection in the engine bay, but then i noticed the connection at the fuel pump would leak as well, and i was over it. But, if you run AN lines, that issue is gone, and with your manifold, you would be running it the best way with regards to even distribution. It would help with the humidity and hot weather you have there as well.

I have definitely thought about running meth! I've just been postponing it in hopes of keeping things simple, and just running an ethanol blend.. I have also heard that the nozzles need to be cleaned regularly, and the connections can leak like you said. I don't like the idea of adding more potential fail points, but I do appreciate the benefits meth could offer. It's something I'm considering.

yeah, i totally agree. It honestly is a little more work. But a lot of the downside is gone if you go to the -AN fittings in my opinion.
They make filters that go inline either on the high pressure or low pressure side so you don't have to clean the nozzles, just the filter. But, if you are super clean and careful when filling the tank (which i can tell you are) the cleaning part doesn't really apply. I didn't even have a filter on mine, other than the screen in the nozzle itself, and it was clean when i removed it (probably 10k miles). Not having to deal with filling the tank in the trunk (which was an event in itself, since i would transfer it from the 5 gallon drum to a 1 gallon water container using a funnel with a screen filter, then filling the meth tank) and not having a tank filled with gas in my trunk is also nice. Anyway, would be glad to share any info on that front if you end up going that direction.

1M/M3 Control Arms
Finally got around to installing the 11-Piece 1M/M3 control arm kit from FCP Euro;
https://www.fcpeuro.com/products/bmw...e93-bmwmcaktfr Install went smoothly. Everything fit like OEM (as it should.) Here are some pictures, including the alignment specs I had the car set to immediately after install. The car has never felt more stable.. No more weird wobbly feeling over bumps and uneven roads. Feels extremely planted and stable. The added camber in the front has definitely helped with understeer as well. Overall, I am extremely happy with this upgrade. I feel it really tied the suspension together. Paired with the solid subframe bushings, and BC Coilovers, this car feels PLANTED now.

It's been a while!
Car's still amazing. Haven't had to do anything to it lately besides regular oil changes. Took her out for a nice cruise around the island today to soak up some sun. New steering wheel from NRW should be here within a month! Will post pics whenever that comes in.

Exciting update!
In the spirit of continuing what I started with this build, I've finally pulled the trigger on some major interior components! Corbeau FX1 Pro Fixed Back Seats - Black Microsuede x 2 Corbeau 5-Point 3" Camlock Harness Belts x 2 Corbeau Seat Brackets w/sliders x2 Corbeau 3" Red Harness Pads x4 I was inspired by fellow 1er suspenceful to go with the Corbeau setup. For the price, they can't be beat. And the fact that I was able to order everything from one place was the cherry on top. Can't wait to get this all installed, along with the custom Nelson Racing Wheel whenever that gets finished up. Shoulder harnesses will be mounted to the rear seatbelt mounting holes for now, but I am going to be looking into getting a cage/roll bar setup soon! Here's what pricing came out to for those curious. And here is what they should look like installed! (Photo of suspenceful setup.)

Hey guys! Happy Holidays!
As promised, here's an update on my recent seat/harnesses install. Parts list: - Corbeau FX1 Pro Seats (Black Microsuede) - Corbeau Red 5-Point Camlock Harnesses - Corbeau E82 Bottom Mount Brackets w/ Sliders Once the stock seats were out, (4 bolts, and 2 electrical plugs on each seat), getting the new seats in was a breeze. I attached the Corbeau brackets to the new seats, and they bolted right up to the factory mounting points without issue. The lap belts were anchored to the new seat bracket, and the shoulder belts were anchored to the rear seatbelt mounting points. This will be how I run them until I get a proper harness bar/cage. There are a few cages out there I have my eyes on. I also need to get around to mounting the 5th belt (Anti-Sub) but will need to drill two holes in the floor for those. Once harnesses and seats were installed, it was just a matter of coding out the following errors in ProTools, and I was on my way! Weight savings was about 65 lbs for the pair of seats vs the stocks! And obviously, I feel way more confident in corners now that I am almost literally glued to the seat. Can't wait to put these to use on the track! Now for some pictures!
