It is, but it is hard plastic, not a seal type rubber or anything. There is just enough space in 2 spots to fit the width of a finger nail.
I'm not terribly worried, as my OEM side (which I changed today and it went much smoother) had the exact same problem. Just looking to see if anyone else had a similar issue, even without doing this. |

Thanks for the pics and vid Nate. In the second pic what is that grip pad used on the side grill during removal?

It looks like one of those stick-on orbital sand lapsed discs. Sticks to the gill, then enables a firm non-stick grip for your fingers.

That's it! My installer used a stick-on orbital sand lapsed discs to remove the OEM side grilles but any standard grip pad would work.

Weird? Not sure how the word "lapsed" ended up in there.

Personally I would go with Light or clear tint on BSM. The Dark LED's look best on AW.

Hmmm, looks nice! I'd like to see these on an AW 1M with gloss black wheels, then a black/CF front lip spoiler w/ an orange accent stripe.

Even though I have already purchased the gloss black indicators from you guys and love them, I would really like to see them in AW. Someone needs to do this, I think I might really like the result.
