Order Update
My 135i Le Mans Blue droptop is still showing as "on order" on the BMW website, and as a Space Grey coupe. So, I wrote to my sales rep and he checked on it. The car was already built and is waiting for the next ship to the U.S.. The website is useless. I also found some links to old models while navigating. They seriously need to evaluate their marketing department. I believe their website is the main tool that buyers use, and not only are there outdated areas, but the services provided don't work! Egad.
Thank goodness the engineers and production personnel are up to speed. The car was built within two weeks of the order, and for me, that is very impressive. |

Winter Tires
I don't plan to drive my car much in winter, but I am looking for winter rims and snow tires. The MODA rims I want are sold out for the season on Tire Rack, and I am having a hell of a time finding them elsewhere. It's hard to believe they would be sold out at the beginning of the season.

Great thread.
I am about to be the proud owner of a 2011 Lemans Blue/Grey interior 135--turning in my 2008 for a new one. What a great color--but I haven't seen too many good pics of the Grey interior--anyone have some good shots?

My new 135 was the first car I have bought off the lot in quite a while...normally dealers seem to go skimpy on the performance/M options and more to the convenience factor (such as upgraded stereo and Navi)...which I don't care about as much...got lucky for once! Once it gets here, you will be glad you got what you wanted. And it will all be worth it, trust me.

Yes, I have a loaded 135 "M" package coming in Le Mans blue - it had to be ordered. I know it will be worth the wait as I have owned other BMWs, but I have worked in this area of logistics and saved my last company millions in costs. I am aware of a recent multi-million R&D project that saved GM and some other participants millions in exactly this area, and wonder why a high-technology company like BMW would not have a better delivery system? It doesn't make sense.
I work overseas and will be leaving next week. They had a five-week window they couldn't hit! Yikes. I really don't want to take delivery on a car I have never seen. Yes, I am disappointed that I don't have it, but also in BMW for not meeting the target week for delivery by two weeks at this point.... and maybe more. |

I just picked mine up, just over 500 miles, and the grey is awesome. Yours is a post sept build I believe and should be split with grey seats and clack "plastic" bolsters etc... The sides are grey and mine has the aluminum trim which I believe is the standard for the grey interior.... now why not just post a pix etc... My camera just went dead and not a battery in the house. I'll try later and get them up. I certiantly love it!
