I truly am so jealous of your opportunities to travel living in Europe! I've been around the world and back but it is so incredibly expensive when your starting place is the USA. I long for the chance to drive through Europe and experience some of these incredible roads. Until then, I'll keep enjoying your awesome pictures!!

A few more pics to update my travel thread... some old pics and some(mostly) new pics!
Stelvio 2.0... Sella Dolomites Stelvio Pass Terento, Italy... Just outside of Verona, Italy... 37067 Valeggio Sul Mincio VR, Italy 37067 Valeggio Sul Mincio VR, Italy When you drive behind the castle and out of town(North) there is a nice sight seeing area... A great little B&B just outside of Verona... cash only, but cheap and very nice/clean... Agriturismo Nicobresaola - Via Strada Sommacampagna, 12, 37060 Custoza VR, Italy Driving from Vipiteno North to Timmelsjoch and then to Solden, Austria Timmelsjoch Austrian border... 8231 feet! For those who don't speak metric! TatzelwurmStrasse... one of my favorite ways to drive South into Kufstein, Austria... The TatzelwurmStrasse is Germany's Tail or the Dragon... only better!! Maut = Toll road. This one is a private road... which only costs 4 euros(cash, no cards!). It also means no Polizei. Near Brannenburg, is the Wendelstein-Zahnradbahn. It's a gear'd train that takes you to the top of Germany's 2nd highest mountain. I've always driven past this place - but I still haven't taken the train ride up the mountain! Driving with friends is always nice! 24030 Fuipiano Valle Imagna BG, Italy... near (East of_)Lake Como high up in the mountains... |

Very nice car and so many great pics from trips!
Don't know if you visited already, but in Austria near the Slovenian border, there are some great locations and high alpine roads, like: Maltaltal Großglockner Nockalmstraße Can't wait to drive them next year with the 135i |

Thanks. I haven't been to Maltaltal - thanks for the tip. It looks sweet! But yes, every year we seem to visit Gross Glockner and Nockalmstraße. This year we ended up in Kranjska Gora for the night. It was a nice little village with breath taking mountain views. Plöcken Pass(Ploecken Pass) leading into Italy is also a favorite pass. Lots of tunnels with U-turns INSIDE the tunnels. Quite a neat experience. But you have to use your horns inside those dark tunnels. Some Google images of Plöcken Pass... https://www.google.de/search?safe=ac...uact=5#imgrc=_
