Which 1:18 model?
Do you mean my silver “Kyosho” 1:18 model on page one of this thread?

Ok, not a BMW model but still I thought this Porsche 918 Spyder model was pretty cool! I picked it up at the Porsche Museum last weekend. Just one of the perks about living over here.

Yup! That is what I thought too! They did have a 1:43 scale model of the 918 Spyder(I think made by Minichamps) for 40 euros and a larger 1:18 version for 699 euros!! 19 euros fit my budget just fine!

Odd that the larger 1:24 scale was 19 Euros while the 1:43 is 40 Euros...

Its all in the quality and detail of the model. The model I bought for 19 euros looked to be made by Burago (type) quality. Good but not great. The MiniChamps models are second to none. Thats why they are so much money. Typically whats sells for 40 euros over here is a $60 to $80 model in the states. And that 918 Spyder model for 699 euros had some really great details and features. I should have taken a picture of it. Dack

I don't know. But I would say no. Kyosho models aren't that expensive. I bought one of my 135i for 79 euros (see page one of this thread!). I think the 1:18 918 Spyder model that I saw in the Porsche Museum gift shop was made by hand model. The detail was very good. Better than my Kyosho 135i.

Series 1 1/18 diecast ?
I have been looking for a series 1 die cast in blue convertible. I would take another color but can't seem to find anything.

I did find this silver Vert made by the Japanese company: Kyosho. I have one of their 135i models myself(see page ONE of this very thread for MY Photos!). The quality is very good. The photo bellow in the Amazon.de page is a bad photograph. You could always have it painted blue. The thing with the e88/e82 models is BMW has stopped carrying them thru the dealers. So the online supply is drying up fast. IF you want one... you better order one soon. http://www.amazon.de/Cabrio-Silber-K...135i+125i+128i
