Sorry to the nay sayers, two other n54 steptronics like mine ran 1.4 sixty foots tonight, few boys from here saw that tonight and no other cars ran those times as far as we know.
Steptronic all the way lol. |

The WR for a N54 is a high 10 second quarter and a 1.6 (?) 60 footer by memory, this is a stripped out race mode setup with drag rims (skinnys up front) and MT slicks also and a fair bit more power 700HP+ by memory... I'm not one of those guys out there who is out there tyring to hang crap on other people's cars or builds (personally I love what you're doing with tuning of your car and validating the performance with the dyno and the strip) I just don't believe the 'hype' |

I can't explain it, so how is it possible for only n54's
To run those times. Three different cars too If all the cars where getting low sixty foots, ok there would be something wrong with the timing but it was only the n54's I guess let's make it if you can't get two in a row it's a fluke |

Yeah that's fair enough that you can't explain it, as you're just reporting on what you witnessed or achieved by the timing that WSID provides you with but based on those WR times linked in the above post surely you would agree that something isn't quite right!
I'm a total drag noob myself personally, but have been into cars for years and have been going to the drags myself since I was a kid (jimmy read was boss back then, and who didnt love that spunky rachelle splatt chick!) To get a heavy RWD street car out of the hole in those times on street tyres doesn't make sense. You seen the video of that R35, that was a seriously hard launch with minimal wheelspin with huge power on huge slicks to get that thing out of the hole in a lightweight chassis. Having said that all this 'drama' gets ppl talking about racing which is a good thing |

No-one is hanging sh!t on you mate, just trying to say from their experience what you're claiming isn't possible.
If you run a 1.4 or 1.5 consecutively for a number of weeks I'll gladly eat my hat, but that's the equivalent of me running a 10 second 100 metre race! (I'm 6'7 and 120 KG) |

You claim you know the basics of drag racing and actually think you could cut a 1.3 short time in these cars says it all. We have a great life hence why we don't escape it every Wednesday to make it to WSID in our BMW's to drag race with all the other Sydney bogans which your coming across as. |

I have no bullshit claim, I have the paper to prove it. Unless you can prove otherwise like timing error or something else you just have a bullshit opinion. |

I was also at WSID last night in the red 135i. I only managed a 13.6 @ 102mph. My car is stock besides a JB4 on map 5, but my car kept swapping back to map 4.
I have a steptronic, what rpm are you guys launching at as my best 60ft 2.1s |

Are you guys disabling DTC and ESC?
I will take your advice next time I'm out at WSID, so annoying with the car swapping from map 5 back to map 4 on each run. Run 1 - 14.7 @ 102mph 60 ft 3.0 (forgot to disable DTC & ESC, 1800rpm launch) Run 2 - 13.6 @ 102 mph 60 ft 2.1 (DTC off, 1800rpm launch) Run 3 - 14.5 @ 100mph 60 ft 2.5 (DTC & ESC off, 2000rpm launch resulting in me going no where) Run 4 - 13.6 @ 103mph 60 ft 2.3 (DTC & ESC off, 1800rpm launch) |

It seems others are getting funky 60' times as well.

I seen your car there, definetly if you have no mods, only use map 1 Map 5 is to aggressive for stock cars Upgrade to the new firmware 30 it's a lot better and a little more aggressive from what I've been told |

Do yourself a favor and don't show anyone those papers cause you'll be a complete laughing stock.
They clearly have major timing issues. Doesn't take a genius to work it out. I'm sorry to be the bearer of bad news and inform you that your car isn't really that fast. Don't make me bring my race car out and make your 135i look like the little white princess she is. Quote:
I'll better that. I'll pay him $10k if he cuts a 1.4 sixty on street tyres just as long as it's not at WSID. That should be enough $$$ for him to venture out of Sydney to locate another drag strip. This guy is clearly a noob and has no idea. |
