I put them (ballasts, connectors and everything) around the installed H8 angel eyes. I thought that I could just "throw them inside the headlight hosting" like a lot of people said or what videos shown but it is not as easy as it sound (if you want to do it right). The space is really tight around the H8 light so you need good placement. Although, It's VERY spacious on the adaptive light side I make sure they don't slide over to that space

it appears that some of the other (LUX) has only one hanging ballast box...i do really like the look of the BMS LED..i guess its a personal preference on how worried you are about shifting boxes getting into bad places

Does anyone know if it's possible to tell which headlight is throwing the code? Or at least recommendations to where we're supposed to put these? The instructions just say to "tuck them into the headlight housing"... |

I have these as well and my drivers side just burnt out and I've only had them in for about 3500 miles. Sent BMS an email and hopefully they'll help me out on this. Seems like there should be some type of warranty. They're supposed to last much longer than factory bulbs. Sounds like Everfly had the same problem and they took care of it.

I ended up keeping the bms hid..after I got the adaptive errors I just bunched the ballasts into a def spot and hoped for the best.. it's been 2 months and they look really great..no errors knock on wood

I had these in both my '08 135i and now my '11 135i, I just put the ballasts inside/beneath the bulb and put the cover back over it, no problems. Had them ~10,000 miles no problems!
