Some people did notice a small fitment issue with these JC diffusers. But for the price and how small of an issue it is, I wouldn't worry about it.
From the pictures it is hard to tell.

It looks smaller then it actually is once it streches a bit around the bumper. I thought the same thing like...omg theres no way this is going to fit. But it does.

I bought a carbon diffuser from a forum member here that I believe is the JC one. It should be here today. I'll post pics of the fitment. It was previously fitted, so I expect it to fit OK.

I'm thinking about getting one of the JCSportline diffusers, as they look great. Can anyone that has one comment on the weight vs stock (135i)? And do the stock 135i exhausts (dark chrome) extend out as much as they do under the stock diffuser?
Sadly JCS don't do LCI CF mirrorcaps yet, so will have to wait for those! |

Is the CF diffuser that DTNJNQ got from the other seller louiellp (post #106) exactly the same as the JCS one? The weave is going to the left (rather than right) in the photos, and the general weave quality looks to be better (more even, same direction and better laid) than the photos of the JCS ones? |

Lol good eyes. I would have never noticed. Seems that it is just the way that they lay the carbon fiber and since it is cheap they probably don't have any set guidelines or consistency in batches that they make.
Lets say batch 1 was left --- batch 2 was left --- then some new guy started making batch 3 and went right. Since it is so cheap I think this is the case. Quality wise I do not know. They all look around the same.

Got my louiellp carbon diffuser on. Fitment was 99%. You can tell there's a slight gap on the driver side if you look at it from less than a foot away but my car is black so from further than that you can't tell. Insurance was paying for it so had it just put on by a BMW dealer body shop. Not sure if they modified it in anyway.
All I can say is wow what a difference in looks! Its now flush with my Maddad V1 exhaust. Can't believe I left the stock piece on for so long. |

Looks great! How is the overall finish and quality of the louiellp one, inc. the evenness of the CF weave? These cheaper ones tend to have uneven weave/wavy/laid in different directions etc.?
