Nice work! Does it interfere with the functioning of the seat slider (ie: do backseat passengers still get to move the front seat all the way forward when getting in/out)?

from that pic, i hope you dont lose power and have a fire at the same time! looks like you would have an interesting time getting it out without moving the seat back.
I just checked on my car (e92) and there aint no way i could do this without the seat tilted all the way back in the takeoff position |

It can still slide forward a decent amount. People are able to get out with ease.
Haha *touch wood* if you tilt the extinguisher you can actually still grab it out with the seat forward. I will have the passenger seat slid back tonight during the track meet hahaha. |

Sweet thanks, I might try this quickly considering I have 40mm aluminum flatbar laying around. If it impedes with the slider too much i'll revert back to the underseat bracket thingy (yet to make). Good thinking man...

Cool, thanks.
Any suggestions of where to get it? Bmminiparts doesn't appear to have it anymore. |

Really? Did you submit an order? I went through the parts finder and they came back with a quote within half a day, and I ordered! This was yesterday.
