Schnitzer??? Bad call
I'd rather have a scale model of Einser M's

Shadowline trim was an option (over here). Only the US cars had it as standard equipment.

I just wrote on the facebook wall of Bburago asking for them to make a 1M, as their electronic email form on their website is not working for me. I have a bunch of their 1:18 scale models and they are nice to have sitting in a cabinet or such.
I may have asked for Valencia Orange though. Robert |

The above are as stated hand samples . So not a good example of the finished model. They have shown images of a Black Sapphire prototype 1M also which suggests that they will try and cover the limited color examples of the BMW 1er M Coupe in their releases.

Looks as if Minichamps will bring out one in 1:18 next year. There is a discussion in the German forum and it seems as if the person that leaked the info works for Minichamps. Not sure about that though...

It also seems like a custom individualization is possilbe. Like black wheels, shadow- chromline, PP Spoiler etc. |

Yea... but at what price point?
Most Minichamps models in 1:43 scale sell for 45 to 60 euros, ~$100. The 1:18 scale ones cost even more. ~100 to 200 euros or $280 USd. I wonder how they will price them.

Rough guess.. around 100 Euro. I personally doubt that they will produce them "to order" thus allowing customizing - but I may well be wrong here. Wondering for a while already why till now nobody launched one in 1:18. As the 1M owners could be considered as car nuts I think they would sell well even for a slightly higher price. I would for sure buy one if in VO...
