Here's a few more of mine... love this color! 95% of BMWs I see are White, Black, or Space Gray. It's nice to stand out from the dull crowd.
At a recent car show sporting the autocross theme Lighting was off in our section because we were next to the stage Autocross action shot from the January 9th, 2011 event Close up of the paint in the garage before the above car show

Yes, they were notified and took no responsibility. When it leaves the factory, they said it was out of their hands. Nice. Anyway, I think the dealer had something to do with it. I wanted delivery in Spartanburg and to attend driving school, but they were booked for the holidays through to the end of January. So I told the dealer to forget about it, but I believe they forgot to tell BMW. It's speculation on my part because nobody is admitting a mistake. The good news is that my car arrived last Thursday. The bad news is that I am now overseas and will not return again until April, so the car will sit in my garage. Sigh. |

Awesome photos, and thanks for posting them. I have never seen the 1 Series in Le Mans blue in person, just the tiny color chip. I ordered it because you could only get it with the "M" package and thought I wouldn't see many others like it on the road. In fact, I have yet to see another 1 Series on the road near my U.S. home. There are a lot of the 1 Series "hunchbacks" here, but they are usually silver or black. |

Beautiful day for a drive.
Today, was an awesome day for my car. I drove over to Eden Park and kids were ice skating. Parking was easy. Saw some exceptional art, lunch on Mt. Adams and home. Here's a few pics from today. Love this car!

Perfect combo!
I almost bought an off the lot white on red... but decided I wanted to be different. Still haven't seen another LMB 1er on the road, nor a 1er with lemon interior. Quote:

Good question. I think on 11 in Switzerland trying to cross from Interlaken to 2 / E35 / Gotthard. Made it about half way only to discover pass was still closed, ohwell had alot fun driving up and down, and the weather was beautiful.

I am not far from there. I live in Bern and sometimes bike down to the other end of the lake at Thun, and ski at Grindelwald. It's a beautiful area for sure. |
