These guys will probably add a 135i sooner or later.

Fine then I'll just take yours

You guys do have quite the price tag,

75k a 135?

130k for a 335?

225k for a M5?

I purchased the 335i for 50k, and my M5 on first release for 106k. (you can get an E60 M5 for 65k here now)

PS E60 M5 = worst purchase I've ever made. Very unhappy with the car.(blew 3 trans, 3 dsc, and one clutch in less than 16k miles.) Love my 335i though.

anthony, believe me its way more than that by the time you are able to drive off with it. more like 270k for the m5. btw, i am sorry to hear negative things about the e60 m5. i so wanted it to be my next bimmer in the new year. maybe the 555i will be better (and cheaper) option to it.

Professor, don't do it! If you think 997.2 is too small, then maybe go for the Mesarati Grand Turismo. Actually I have a very interesting alternative which I drove last week. Jaguar XF SV8. It wasn't anywhere near as quick as my AMG, but it was more than sufficient. I personally wouldn't get it, but you may want to test it out anyway.

Jaguar. Hmmm...I don't want to buy an Indian car! LOL

The M5 is such an icon (fed its legendary stories since birth). Though I know you are right. BTW, I went to see the AMG today. It looks smaller in person, but so much more beautiful than the E class!

That would be me and Autocar magazine! Given I am an owner of said Aston Martin (ok the now superseded 4.3 instead of the new 4.7), you can be sure it is an unbiased opinion. I loved my 911 and I will buy another when they decide to use proper paddles for the PDK!

oh, i am very proud of my country of origin, but that does not change the fact that i consider jaguars not the sharpest tool in the shed! tata buying them off may yet be the best thing that has happened to them financially, but it will take a decade before it shows in the cars.

Haha I would too if I was paying good money to rent a car! You should see what a brand new S-class can do with it's handbrakes. I did this in Germany last year when we rented the new S class for a week. Ok only once Mr Hertz. I swear I was pretty gentle with the car!

Have you ever thought about getting in contact with Powrechip in conjuction with some of your R&D work? They have already done a chip for the 135 (though I suspect its a carry over from the 335)
http://www.powerchipgroup.com/produc...sp?pid=Bmw0252
This chip map is probably done on a std car so it would be interesting what could be done to one with different mods as it goes along. They do this sort of stuff.
They reside in Melbourne (do alot in the states too) and I have only heard good things about their work and service. i am sure they have had alot of experiance with many BMW's so this has got to help.

Really? They used to have the worst reputation! I reckon if Andrew is going to team up with anyone local, it should be to use a Unichip and team up with APS! :w00t:

APS are good too.
Ive had experiance with both. Powerchip are a bit dearer but do a bit more work with Euro cars and they have done alot of mucking around with BMW ecu's so could be more used to the 'DNA' say and they dont just change timming/fuel setting etc also do throttle sensitivity and others for smoother driving. APS do more R&D on Jap and Aussie cars not to say they are not pro's in the turbo field, they are. Good choice.
I guess its up to Andrew who he feels most comfy with if he is going down that direction. Could be someone else out there. Unichip would be good as there are plenty of outlets around.
BTW thanks for the R&D on the dp's.

I am definately working on it, if it wasn't for MSD 81 then i would have plenty of options for you right now in stock. Testing continues and when i am satisfied i will offer kits for the Australian market. It is still a while away though....
