I just got back from a week in Minneapolis. Getting back into my 128i after driving a Nissan Versa rental was a wonderful experience. On Sunday its going to be 45 degrees warmer here than in Minneapolis. I don't understand it, but my colleagues actually like living there.

minneapolis is a great city in the summer. It was gorgeous and clean when I went. plently of parks and lakes. winter a different story. I got a wonderful tour of the city from the county commish (gf's mom).

dude i asked you that in one of the other threads
i've been going back and forth about whether to: -hook the 1 up -not do much more to the 1 and save up for a track car -sell the 1, get an e36 m3 in awesome shape, use the rest of the money to hook it up -sell the 1, get an e46 m3 for about even money, and slowly mod it i think i'm gonna keep the 1 and make it into what i want...so the plan for the spring is prob gonna be coils with camber plates for sure, ss brake lines, then maybe an oil cooler what do you guys think?

I don't like all this 'selling the 1' talk!

I highly suggest putting a little aside for the driver mod. Go to Evo school!

Since my truck failed its last inspection, it's become a daily driver. The M lives in the garage for the winter.

Aside from a few missing chunks on the edges, the winters survived the AX pretty well. The front end ploughs more than I'd like going around corners but that seem to be part of having a two way locking diff in the rear and the stock viscous center and front duffs. Dropping a gear and some extra gas brings the back end around and steers out very predictably, though. It's really a lot of fun.

Rachel, I'm debating on star specs or nitto nt05s. Maybe ML can chime in on his opinion on the nittos..
Mike, getting sideways in the snow is pretty much the only reason I got a CTSV for a winter car |
