Yes, it looks great - put it on BAT. There have been a couple of 135i's sold there recently, and there's a lot of love for these in the comments. The comments there make for interesting reading.

Installed red start/stop button. Trim tool, a pick, and 2 minutes = +5 HP!

Really digging the glossy finish vs the stock matte black. Goes well with Coral Red interior.

Super simple if you don't over complicate it. Saw lots of videos where people were removing the whole switch or popping open trim, but this barely viewed video is exactly what I did. Just remove the trim ring and pick 2 clips on the button. Easy peasy.

Man, that is hard to watch.

Don't any of these YouTube experts have any friends that could hold the camera so we don't have half the video with the hands blocking the procedure?

Check post #3, or post #6 if you like that look better.

There are still hands in the video, but the start/stop button is small and has to be held with something. lol

Pads and rotors arrived. I put the car up on jack stands and inspected some things. Looks like my front tires have been rubbing the inner fender lip. One tire got a couple small cuts in the tread and the paint is worn off basically along the entire inside. Whoops.

So now I'm waiting on a fender roller from eBay and I'll probably have to paint the inside lip with something like POR15.

Started my brake job. I can go super slow since it's not coming off the jack stands until the fenders are rolled in all likelihood.

I have to give Suprgnat full credit for the inspiration and the information to get this done.

I finally got the last piece of my interior puzzle in place by painting the gauge needles. The process was actually pretty easy, and turned out a lot better than I had any reason to expect.

Although Suprgnat masked off his needles before painting them, I apparently have neither his patience, nor his attention to detail. So, instead I just airbrushed the needles without masking them, then cleaned the overspray off of the sides of the needles with a tongue depressor wrapped with a small piece of paper towel and soaked lightly with isopropyl alcohol. Worked perfectly!!

On a side note - I ordered some spare E9x needles from eBay for $14 to paint out of fear of messing up my own needles. The good news is that they turned out great. The bad news is that either E9x and E82 needles are not the same, or the seller wasn't actually selling E9x needles. Turned out to be good practice either way.

Next, RSFB...

Not for a 128i. The Delphi coils are the latest iteration of the part for our cars.

I've had to re-clearcoat one headlight, both the back side tabs were broken so they're just hanging open. Which is totally fine, since one of them (maybe both?) gets condensation on the inside after a rain or wash. The projectors are eh quality and the angel eyes aren't very bright.

Got my hands on an E87 clear corner non-adaptive xenon! Only 1 has shown up now, but I should have more coming. Luckily all E81, E82, E87, and E88 headlights are the same besides options.

Interestingly has only 1 projector with a halogen for a highbeam? Although RealOEM still lists it as a bi-xenon. Hopefully someone can chime in on this.

Part number for sunroof delete console? Need to compare this to the 1M part.

Thanks C!

Coils I recommend sticking with the most up to date OE coils or going with the Precision Raceworks kit.

Extensive testing of all the coil options hasn't shown a difference or need for anything else. wish I could link to the forum where the data is.

Having data would be nice. So far, most of the info has been anecdotal and indicating that the Delphi coils are the best choice for the N52.

Fwiw, I went with Delphi on the N54, running MHD 1+ without issue. I remember reading to stay away from Bosch, but both Delphi and Eldor received positive reviews.

Got some FZ-201M's in 255/35/18 for my rear wheels.

Initial thoughts are that these are amazing in the dry. I can now put down power in 1st-2nd gear. Definitely transform the car.
