Gee, thanks for rubbing it in. I'll get mine at some point I guess by taking it in and pointing out to them that um, there's no net. Perhaps I'll even use your photo. I also go back and forth on the meguiar's ultimate detailer spray and the turtle wax ice detailer spray. I think I'm about to go back to the meguiar's and I'll have you know I have the same bottle in the same spot, though it often rattles around and falls over due to no net.
Oh, can you also show me a picture of your no charge comfort access? |

Greg: interesting viewpoints after being away! wait you don't have a little side trunk net like worra posted? I have one of those two
the 135is is actually my 'bigger' car as it feels quite large after I drive the TT.....but I totally agree that it is a great size. I don't think I can drive anything larger.....it would make no sense to drive anything larger! the fact is, a car like that Accord you drove is a gutless appliance meant for peeps who simply do not care about what they are driving. Our cars seem specifically made for people who really want to enjoy their drive. they seem to have lots of enthusiasm built into it. my daily commute is 120 miles/day there and back....so I'm getting a LOT of seat time in the car these days. |

I've always said on the size, that the 1 is the perfect, most efficient size. It's juuuust big enough to put people in the back if you need to, and I wouldn't want or need it or any car even 1 inch bigger. Disappointing that they added like 3+ inches to the 2-series. That makes it the same size as an e46 sedan. Granted, I wasn't expecting much with the new accord, but my friend was considering getting one in the next few weeks coming out of a 318ti, and I told her after my struggles with the size, that it's gigantic and a pain to get around town. Just glad to be back in my car, though I have to clean my shoes thoroughly after the lion incident before they go in the car. Lion crap is a pain to get out of our floormats. I reckon you'll pass me in mileage soon, but curious if you have any observations, thoughts, feedback after having the car for a lil while longer and having that long commute? |

How long is that TT? I do agree, so I will preface it by saying this is the smallest car I would want that can could somewhat comfortably fit 4. You also get a whole lot of storage space to carry stuff with the back seats down, having filled my old one to the brim once to move a couple states away.

Unrelated, hope you finally see your sales guy was completely wrong about a 2014 1-series. New 2 series will be out in spring as 2014 model. Neener neener. That's why I didn't mess around or wait and ordered mine in February. Wasn't leaving anything to chance...like whether or not I'd get a cargo net.

Today was the first real experience driving on rainy roads with the Michelin PSSs... I am very impressed with their traction in the wet! Next purchase is probably going to be winter tires/wheels... perhaps a square setup with 17" Sport Edition SE16 wheels with Michelin Xi3 205/50R17s...

The oyster interior on black exterior looks really nice on a vert!

You can get another set of the stock valve caps I think for literally a couple of dollars online or at the dealer, or I could probably just mail you mine once I swap 'em, since we're in a mineral grey gang. Can't have you driving stemless! |

The tire swap at my BMW dealer was a real fiasco. Multiple trips, dirty seats, damaged wheel, missing caps, tons of grease all over the outside of my new tires, etc. In an effort to recover the situation, the service manager agreed to accommodate all of my requests... finding the missing valve stem caps was by far the easiest and least expensive one! So I do still have my grey plastic stock caps...

I almost ordered those with the car, but after looking at more black car photos with them, I think I'll keep the stock ones. Adds a bit of contrast to the front. Already has black slats anyhow. That "diffusor" is the first thing to go.

Worra, quit being so mean to the poor diffusor. Just enjoy your cargo net. You think you'll go with a BMW CF one, some other CF one, or try painting/plastidipping/doing something else to your existing one first perhaps? Not sure how much of your issue is with the look of the color/material or the size and puniness of it. Or both I guess. |

Here are the pics from the accident. My biggest fear when I took it to the bmw shop was that they were going to tinker with the programming of the car and screw up the performance.
