That's on the spec sheet I have got for my PD. Unless they decided to put what's sensible in my car and not what's on the little sticker which I have been told by another dealer - not for Australian conditions.

If you have a look at ESS's website you will see that their N54 135i tune comes with two stages for the same price.

Stage 2 of these tunes is the same power output as the stage 1 'is'/1M tune.
These tunes are Australian compatible unlike the COBB tune.

Although not 'officially supported', I have the COBB tune and can assure you it works very very nicely!

I did consider ESS before buying, but the COBB has too many advantages including being cheaper, much better interface, varying map/throttle settings which are constantly updated, full logging and code clearing capability, and proven untraceable uninstallability.

1M is apparently in development currently for it...

Would you suggest buying a BMS Can tool if you got this flash?

It's a shame that Akra have got everyones hopes up by allowing orders to be placed, just to further delay the release, it would be interesting to find out what the problem is.

This waiting game seems somewhat familiar...

Depends if your having issues with it blowing off or if you want to run aftermarket divertor set up. I still run the stock unit on my 135i

Look forward to seeing dyno & more importantly how drivability of car is improved (or not)...can it be VIN-unlocked if need to sell?
All the reviews on the ESS has been how smooth it is. The key would be if there are any noticeable lag. So, if anyone know a good way to log the boost pressure with a OBD2 port that would be good. May be I should buy the Cobb as well just for its logging capabilities . Does BT Tool do it?

Just over 5k now, baseline was 218.3 on the dyno printout, but I remember the first run was at 219kw - Alan should have the video as I don't really remember.

I am looking at the ER charge pipe and the forge dv at the moment, so if anyone wants to do a group order let me know. The charge pipe has been blowing off with cars with no mod, and increasing the boost might make it worst. The forge dv hopefully will prevent any boost leaks from the stock dv.

Still searching for a better intercooler - but it will need to be one that doesn't introduce lag.

Will wait and see. Still looking for a data logger, preferably handheld. Not much response from the other thread either.

Very impressed Steve, you managed to keep your 135i stock for all the time you had it, now the M only lasted a month or two!

Any other mods planned?

Exhaust, DP, wheels and brakes - but that will come later. Coz I need brownie points for those before I can get them . Also, the only reason I didn't do anything on the 135i was because of the 1M. Otherwise, it would have m3 suspension bits.
