I just got off the phone with Mike K. at Germain BMW in Naples, FL. The fully loaded VO is still available and is arriving at the port tomorrow and at the dealership most likely next Wednesday. They are asking MSPR + $874 for Xylon paint protection + $180 for floor mats + $95 nitrogen + $699 dealership fee. Give Mike K. a call at 239-643-2220 and let him know that Richard referred you. I'm not buying this one because I already have an allocation at another dealer who is willing to do ED MSRP for me. Good Luck!!!

I talked to these clowns a while back - they add all that junk in order to markup the car. I once told them that since the car was not at the dealer yet, they could simply not apply any of that nonsense and sell me the car straight up but they refused. Let's see, the paint protection probably costs them $100-200 max, every dealer I know of throws carpets in for free, and are they really charging 95 bucks to put nitrogen in the tires?!

Getmetnow has this dealer's second allocation. I wonder if they are hitting him up with the dealer options. |

Update on classic BMW in Willoughby, Ohio - this car is now sold.
i was able to get mine at P&W BMW in pittsburgh PA. i was able to talk a dealer in Raliegh (i'm located in Charlotte NC) into giving me the current list of allocations in the entire US. there were only two that had a priority 2, in a 111 or 112 status (available to build per customer request). one dealer in MA and P&W. P&W didn't even know that they had an allocation left!!! after they did some searching, they found it for me, and I eagerly put my money down on it. THANK GOD TOO! I'm gonna have it shipped to the BMW PC in Spartenbug SC. Should be here around october. CAN'T WAIT!!!! |

I just called. Looks like it's still available!!! Happy hunting. They are NOT ASKING OVER MSRP!!! It's in a Priority 2, 111 status, which means it can be built to your specs. Your welcome. :-) |

Aren't they factory filled with nitrogen? Oh, and my local tire shop includes it when they mount the tires for free

Dang, that sucks! I'm sorry guys...I tried. I can't believe that it went that fast! It had to be someone on this board, because I JUST put it up and as I was posting called the dealer to make sure it was still available. That was fast!

im working with a dealer in south florida and the SA said they have an order in the order bank and if they get another allocation it will have my name on it. Now I have heard a couple of different arguments on allocations 1 being that it is a random lotery with new allocations given out each month meaning that dealers really dont know when or how many 1Ms they will get. And the other argument I heard is that management at the dealers know how many they will get but not when so they have to wait for allocations to come out to see if they got one for that month. does anyone know any updates on this topic or if there is a way I could tell if the dealer I am working with really will get another allocation before december?

also a couple of quick off toopic questions
1. what is the motor oil used in the 1M is it from the 135i or the M3 2. when applying for bmw select financing is there any difference between the applications at a specific dealer or the general bmw apply for select financing? because I dont want a bunch of different dealers to run my credit and pull it down so is the application right from BMW harder to get approved with like some dealers have told me or is it really the same thing? |

At this point you'd be better off trying to find a car period that isn't marked up to the moon. Have you considered trying a private sale instead?
